Mr. Brett Day is a terrific lawyer. Excellent traffic ticket services were provided. Very professional, attentive to all details, takes time to walk you through all the options. A one of a kind person that does his job out of integrity, character and honesty. Just for the record, I am from out of the state, didn't know anyone in town, and he solved my issue with excellence by providing me the best outcome ever. I am fortunate to have found him online. I had a run in with McDonald county's "finest" and they pulled me over for no reason! They then gave me some bogus charges, arrested me, impounded my vehicle AND lost my firearm! David Abbot said he pulled me over for running a stop sign at the intersection of Patterson and Walnut.. Those two streets never intersect! They run parallel to each other! During the search they found some weed in my purse, and claimed I was trafficking drugs! They charged me with class D felony drug trafficking in the second degree! I hired Brett Day who immediately took my case and told me it was clearly a case of illegal search and seizure and I had nothing to worry about. After a long drawn out ordeal, the prosecution kept postponing hearings and Brett started setting meetings with the prosecutor's office between hearings and began pointing out every mistake the police made, every flaw in the case, even got them to find my firearm. In August of 2018, Brett called me to tell me that my case was dismissed and ALL charges were dropped! Illegal search and seizure, for saying I ran a stop sign at an intersection that doesn't exist! Brett Day is awesome! I would and have recommended him to my friends and family.

I was charged with a DUI in Newton County. I consulted MANY lawyers. Some wanted a consultation fee, others did not. When I explained to Brett my situation and consultation with other lawyers, he made it obviously clear that he was my best choice and also found the other consultations humorous. As you know, no laughing matter. He explained to me what course of actions would be taken and what was necessary of me. Mr. Day is a genuine person. He didn't blow smoke, said only what he thought was true. If you want a lawyer who will tell you what you want to hear, he is not the one. While there are several good attorney's doing Criminal Defense work, in the Neosho area, there aren't any I know of who have taken the time Brett Day has to build great relationships.
