I can’t say enough about my experience with BurnettDriskill. They do their best to help make the process of applying for disability benefits navigable. I am in Topeka, KS and I didn’t know who could help me. I know some people choose to apply themselves and that’s fine. I wanted to have someone who was familiar with the landscape and could answer questions, and they were alway there and always gave me the most accurate and complete answers that they could. I was happy to learn that their fees are very straightforward, uncomplicated and can be figured by one simple multiplication calculation. There was no wondering what the cost would be and other than a negligible deposit upfront there were no other costs to me. They took a mountain of paperwork and time filing and answering my questions and it cost me nothing until I was eventually approved for benefits. My surprise was when I merely mentioned having Short Term / Long Term Disability Insurance through work, which I unfortunately did nothing with because I couldn’t figure out the process and then I couldn’t work any longer so that option was just gone. Well, that simply wasn’t the case and Derrick with BurnettDriskill told me that this type of thing happens to people and they walk away from a benefit they paid into because they no longer worked for their employer and didn’t understand the process. While the company that I paid into certainly did their best to not pay any benefits, BurnettDriskill was able to eventually secure a five figure settlement from them. If a person wants to go through what I did alone, more power to them. I’m sure it works for some people. But even after going through it, I’d still be happy to have BurnettDriskill help again.
