We spoke to David for a divorce consultation today and he was ZERO help, I asked him a few questions regarding his consultation price & he stopped me before I even finished my statement and said his time is $300/hr and my case would be $5000-$20,000 and he would take no less than $5,000 from me. Literally going through the hardest thing of my life and luckily for me, money isn’t an issue but I refuse to pay someone like this my money, I will find a better attorney suited for my needs.

He is more helpful. Nice and clear. I would recommend for anyone

When my late husband passed away in a car accident I needed to obtain legal guardianship of my stepchild. The child's natural mother had been absent since the birth and I had raised the child since age 2. My late husband used Mr. Wells as his lawyer for the original custody case against the biological mother so I knew Mr. Wells would do another fantastic job for my family. Mr. Wells handled my very unique case with expertise and was highly knowledgeable in the area of guardianship and family law. He may be a good lawyer but he gets into your personal life way to much! Hes is very narrow minded and judgemental! he wants to know every inch of your personal life and wants to tell you what to do! Like apparently construction workers are all trash and woman need to date lawyers and doctors bc if you didnt go to college your trash! I would laterally leave so mad everytime i had to see him!! Highly recommend Mr Wells. He is blunt and will tell you exactly what you can do going through a divorce. He will be my attorney as long as he is able to practice law as he knows the law front and back. I am a dad and was happy with the results acquired through the lengthy process. He knows all the judges (including appellate judges in case there is an appeal). He will fight for you and what you want and tell you how to get the end result you want, if it is feasible in the eyes of the court. I consulted a few attorneys in the Kansas City area before meeting Mr Wells and knew he was the right attorney for me in the consultation.
