Jack was recommended by a family member for our custody case. Warm and compassionate on our first meeting but that will never make up for how the case progressed and the fallout of his behavior. Jack would promise a draft or response and then go radio silent for weeks when we needed to act swiftly. Many times over he would send a draft and we would reply with edits only for him to completely ignore the edits, over and over again. He showed up to court disheveled, profusely sweating, unkempt. He lied directly to our faces about what was said in chambers with the judge. He submitted a petition to the court with all of the wrong edits and affixed our signature to it. He lied over and over about submitting said petition, allowing the opposing party to file for custody first. We submitted a formal complaint to the state against him and he was found to have violated the rules of professional conduct. I could not be less satisfied in his professional capacity.

Highly disappointed. Had worked successfully with Jack on a case the end of 2018, beginning of 2019. Tried to work with him again in 2020 and it's been an utterly disappointing nightmare. I'm out a lot of precious time and money and have nothing to show for it. He never filed the paperwork with the court that we met several different times to fill out, but he still hasn't filed it over a year later, and certainly not for lack of trying and following up on my part. He finally just stopped taking my calls and responding to messages. Words cannot convey my disappointment.

It would be great if I could either get my money back,or something resolved with my grandparent case.Refile payment in March still nothing.Repeatedly does not return texts, and phonecalls.If you cannot follow through with what you were hired to do, then I'd like a refund at this point.I have been more than patient and provided helpful information to help my case.

Jack has been wonderful to work with, both times I used him. When I first used him in 2008 for my custody case he was beyond helpful. He explains things in a way that are easy to understand, but even better than that, he listens. There were many times when I wanted to make extraordinary demands and Jack was able to walk me through things and give me a better idea of how to approach things. In 2018 when it was time to revisit my original case it was a no brainer to use Jack again. Jack has represented me for over two and a half years in St. Charles County, Missouri. He got me sole legal and sole custody of my son with my ex-wife receiving supervised visitation. This case was extremely difficult because essentially my ex-wife had four psychiatric breakdowns with psychosis during the pendency of case. The case required a custody evaluation and a second custody evaluation by the psychologist because my ex-wife continued to be institutionalized throughout the case. She would disappear for periods of time around the country, she was appointed her own guardian in the case ultimately because of her lack of mental stability. Jack worked vigorously throughout case to protect my interest and above all else my son's best interest. People have no idea how long a divorce with problems can take, but Jack was with me through the whole ordeal. I am very grateful to him and his representation and would highly recommend him to anybody going through a divorce or paternity case, whether simple or complex. You really know someone when you are in the trenches fighting and I cannot say enough good things about Jack as a person and a lawyer.
