Great lawyer would recommend to anyone who’s in a tuff spot

I’ve had the pleasure of using Mr. Cooke 2 times. The most recent was with a felony case in which I moved to a different state. He not only had the court proceedings pushed back to allow me time to fly back to town, but also got my SES recommendation changed to a SIS which was extremely important for this chapter of my life I’m in. He is a very good attorney and he’s willing to work with the average working person in need of legal representation.

Shop around!!!! Especially if they show up in your hospital room unannounced. They'll bill you $400 for the phone call they received from the hospital. Then bill YOU for their airfare, hotel, rental car, and meals, when they come sign you up. That's when the real fleecing begins. They keep nearly half overall. They tell you a smaller percentage, which is still significant, but after all their extra charges, it's been half. SLOW!! Oh my --- slow. Communication is terrible, but every time you sneeze, they bill extra! It's easy to see online how the process works, and average durations, along with average payouts. These people don't come close to either. My in-laws signed, and it's been beyond disappointing. ANY firm, has to be better than this one! Average settlement 1.3 to 1.5 million. Less than $80k shown to us so far, and the lawyers have kept half. You'd be foolish to sign with these crooks. Again , look elsewhere. You may get ripped as we have, but guaranteed, you'll be fleeced by this group! Update, 5/4/2024 No communication from this group since August 4th, 2023. Danielle Davis, and Megan ?? are serious disappointments. Megan's been quite rude to my wife, and ineffective. Danielle isn't efficient either. Contacting this outfit will be a huge mistake. SCROLL TO THE NEXT LISTING, trust me.

I highly recommend Brian. I've been friends with Brian since before he became a lawyer, and am very satisfied with his services. I have witnessed the level of effort he puts into his cases, which I don't think can be matched by some of the larger groups out there. He fights for you and and works with you to ensure that you get the best possible outcome. I have always been impressed by his knowledge of the law, the effort, and creative options that he puts toward resolving a case. He puts in the research to help you, and will spend the time to walk through the possible outcomes and your options. I have used his counsel and recommend his legal services to those in the St. Louis area over the other options in town.

My son had a public defender (pretender) who was trying to shove 15 years down his throat. Thank God we got the money to hire Mr. Cook. Within about 9 weeks or less, he knew the case inside and out. My son ended up with 5 years probation! Quite the difference from 15 years. Of course not every case is the same, but I can say, he does his due diligence, and knows the law very well!! Best lawyer I have ever known. I rate him at the highest possible level.

Nicole and The Pleasant group is great! I was looking for a bankruptcy lawyer and my coworker recommended Nicole Pleasant, to me and it turned out to be one of the greatest relationships I’ve built with someone in a long time business wise. Once I spoke with her the process began and she was very proactive in getting all my materials in order. I had a few discrepancies in my case but Nicole, never gave up on my case she’d walk me right through the process. I was able to purchase me a new car before I was discharged. Although my case was coming to a end she continued to stay in contact with me. That’s speaks volumes and shows that the Pleasant Law Group, cares about there clients. I will recommend this offices a thousand times over. I can’t express my joy of meeting Nicole Pleasant. Thank you once again.

I am a bit late on this review however Nicole was awesome she took me under her wing and helped me out in a time of my life where I was in school had a three month old as well as these creditors hounding me for money. to top it all off she was able to help me out with starting my new credit venture off the correct way with a new vehicle. i just sent over a friend who is looking for the same outcome. thanks again.
