I highly recommend Davis & Associates, Attorneys at Law for their professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach in handling family law matters, making a difficult process much easier.

I attempted to hire this attorney for my custody and child support case for my kids. After talking to them at first, I felt comfortable to give them a large deposit and to move forward with my case with them. It was complete crickets with communication from them after I paid them the money. When I tried to cancel, I got tons of phone calls from Kate the attorney along with many other people and said that I would be taken care of and they apologize about the miscommunication with things. I gave them another opportunity just to be let down yet again. I was set up to meet with Kate the attorney or somebody to go over my case. After being rescheduled day of our meeting I was understanding to reschedule to the next day. I was fine with that because I know things happen in life and made it work for the following afternoon. When arriving that day, I was texted an incorrect address that wasn’t to their office. When someone finally called me back, I was told I could meet up with somebody halfway between their St. Louis branch and St Charles. I was told I had an 11 o’clock meeting in St Charles to find out I was just dropping off paperwork. Never have I hired an attorney and not been able to go over my case, but yet give them a large chunk of money and then just some paperwork they requested that didn’t fully resemble , my needs that I’m looking for. The five stars they are very confusing because there’s a lot of loose ends and they don’t cross there T’s and dot there I’d with this attorney. As a business owner, I’m about attention to detail and I would not trust this attorney with any of my cases, personal or business by the way, they operate at all

Where do I start? In August of 2023 I talked with this firm and met with Lee Allen who was to be my lawyer. I was then called by J Frederick Accola, stating he was now my lawyer. When asked to meet in person, he refused and I only ever saw him at court. He never filed a motion on time, which led to none of my motions to be heard. My case was supposed to have a final hearing on July 1st, due to me paying a large sum to retain the firm they were to make sure they were up to date on my case. The date was postponed until October 7th due to something not being filed by J Fredrick Accola. I have been calling the Firm asking for Branden Davis since then. My lawyer was inept and incompetent. I never got ahold of him, until today when J Fredeick Accola has given up law so I need a new lawyer. Finally after talking to a William (who wouldn't give me his last name) I asked for their Edwardsville office. The address given to me was not their firm. I went to their St Louis location and called, no answer so I was unable to speak with someone in person. Today after finding all this out, and asked William that he have Brandan call me today or I would have to take manners to a legal capacity. I received a call, after over 1.5 months of attempting to talk to Mr. Davis. He wants to give me $1000 back and me move on. I refuse. If you have an issue with this firm much like I do, contact me. I am filing a fraud complaint with the STL Metropolotain police. I have filed a complaint against the firm and the lawyer J Fredrick Accola with The ARDC. I will also be speaking with the Illinois Bar Association for further matters involving this law firm. Beware, do not contact this firm and if you have them, DROP THEM IMMEDIATELY. If you have been injured mentally or physically to due their fraud and incompetence as well as Malpractice contact someone now. Do not let firms and lawyers like Davis and Associates and J Frederick Accola practice law, these are our children and families they are helping to destroy.

Don’t use this law firm. They charged me a total of $2,500 and told me that the divorce was contested. I was married 11 months. And they demanded me pay them another $600 to continue representing me. And when it was all said and done (after my attorney never returned my calls, emails, or text messages and then she dropped me) the divorce was UNCONTESTED! So if you want a law firm and lawyers that will NOT return phone calls and will lie to you then go ahead and hire them. Not to mention they wouldn’t give me an itemized bill showing what they used my $2,500 dollars for, and I printed off all the forms for my lawyer. The Missouri state bar is going to love this. They’re a bunch of liars. So if you’re in the St. Louis area and want to get screwed over, go ahead and hire them.

They are unable to call you back or keep scheduled calls. Do not waste your time and money.

Im trying to help my little one and when i contacted them and told them my situation they looked the other way and i just want to fight for son and their telling me he cannot do anything when my son is from here if any law firm in the best ability would do something in there power to make this possible for my son
