There is no way I will ever by or sell another home in the St. Louis area without Marc Jacob representing me. Not a chance. He saved me 100s of hours time wading through and collecting paperwork, responding to phone calls and emails, trying to figure out the legalese of dozens of pages of documents, and so on. I hired Marc Jacob to represent me during a residential home purchase. He delivered excellent representation during the entire process. He was responsive, thorough on the details, and explained all the legal documents well. An issue came up during closing with one of the documents and Marc advised me not to sign until the issue is fixed. The other parties downplayed the issue and tried to pressure me for expediency, but I followed Marc’s advise and that forced the parties to correct the documents. He is not the typical St. Louis attorney. Sometime later I needed a referral on a different legal issue and he promptly helped out. I recommend Marc to anyone who needs real estate or business representation that is competent and professional.

We moved to St. Louis from out of state and could not have done it without our Home Sweet Legal attorney, Marc Jacob. Things were very hectic and we had a real estate agent, but only our lawyer could help us understand the title work, the survey and make sure the enormous packet of closing documents actually said what it was supposed to. Home Sweet Legal even negotiated the “standard” title company closing documents so that they removed something at closing that could have hurt us down the road. They facilitated a smoother process by defining the roles of everyone involved and ensuring every task was accounted for. We would recommend using them, even if you have a real estate agent, and their fees are also very reasonable.
