John helped my father with a difficult claim against a nursing home. my father was in the home for rehabilitation after surgery. while there, he was attacked by another resident . the nursing home knew that this other resident had attacked other people in the home, and had a history of violence, and did nothing about it. the claim had to be mediated, and john allan did a great job in mediating the claim and getting my father a monetary award.

Mr. Allan filed a suit on my behalf against a former employer who for no reason stopped paying me. It was not related to anything I had done. He had done this to several employees in the past. This former employer owed me half a year's wages. Mr. Allan doggedly pursued him through the courts and stayed in contact with his lawyer. He obtained a judgement for me. Unfortunately, my payments stopped when he filed for bankruptcy. He also quit paying his lawyer who he probably owed money to as well.

I have worked on several cases with John Allan over the past fifteen years, initially on an appeal in the United States Court of Appeals, which we won, and then as an expert witness in legal malpractice cases, an area in which he has developed a high degree of skill, experience, and expertise.
