Great experience! I just got my green card just 4 months after we filed the application. Prior to the filing, I spent an additional of 2 months with the lawyer to prepare for my paperworks. I like that at the beginning, when I made the phone call to Yi, she was able to answer many questions that I had without having to make an initial appointment. Many law practices did not give out much details regarding the cost or the process (not even the estimate) when I called them over the phone. They wanted me to make an appointment instead. This was difficult for me because I wanted to get to know my lawyer before hiring but I did not want to pay to explore all of my options. I'm glad that we went with Yi. She was very professional and prompt with her communication. The process went smoothly under her instructions and it really helped having an expert assisting you. I felt confident going into the process knowing that I had a lawyer in my corner. I highly recommend Yi if you are in need of legal advice/service.

My wife and I opted to use Yi Sun Law when filing for a marriage-based green card. Even though our case was pretty straightforward, my wife was especially anxious about trying to file everything on our own. We chose Yi Sun after interviewing other lawyers because she seemed like a no-nonsense individual, which is exactly the kind of lawyer we wanted. She was honest and very direct, but she was also kind. During our initial consultation, she did not try to "sell" her services like some of the individuals we spoke to at other law firms. As our lawyer, she didn't "sugar-coat" her responses to our questions (even when the answers weren't necessarily what we wanted to hear). This was helpful, as it allowed us to set reasonable expectations and prepare ourselves mentally for the "what-if" scenarios we had imagined (in the event that they ever came to fruition). Finally, it is worth mentioning that the green card (for which we had applied) was approved in record time, and while MANY extraneous factors contribute to local processing times, Yi Sun's expertise and attention to detail made our experience as efficient as possible (far more efficient than if we had tried to go through this process without her guidance).
