Hired Steve for a relatively straight forward case and when I needed a pit bull, I got a poodle. He was always dismissive of facts and very condescending.

I had a great experience working with Stephen and his team with regards to a legal name change that was a bit complicated. They were very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly totally honest and transparent about the entire process. And always available for my many questions. I stumbled upon them by chance (and many other STL law firms either refused help or simply didn’t respond). I would 100% use again and recommend to anyone in the STL area. Super stupendous Steve should be his real name. Steve truly does care. I know it is crazy. Past experiences led me to believe that attorneys' main goals were to profit the most. However, Steve genuinely cares and did his due diligence to not only provide me with the best legal representation in my divorce/custody case, but also kept in mind my financial situation as a newly single mom and worked with me. Steve also returned emails within 24 hours and additionally followed up with phone calls when applicable. I hands down recommend Stephen Bardol!

After 5 excruciating years of fighting for my daughter, Stephen was able to accomplish what no other attorney was able to. We were able to get a granted step parent adoption. He was very straight forward the whole time and was very informative with any questions that we had during the process. Steve was such a good listener, and he understood that my tears were the "tears of a Mother" who just wanted what was best for her children. Steve was very empathetic and understanding. I hired Stephen after firing my previous attorney, Thomas Rolwing, for incompetency at it's highest level. I was immediately impressed with Stephen for his straight forward approach, knowledge of case law, organization, ability to answer all my questions and a feeling that my divorce case would be handled in a timely manner. Stephen would always return phone calls within 24 hours if not the same day. I couldn't have asked for anything more from Stephen including billing me for actual hours worked on my case. Stephen's legal assistant, Julie, was also very professional and helpful with my case. Always available to take my calls and answer questions I had for Stephen. I honestly feel it would be difficult to find a more qualified lawyer. I interviewed 4 attorneys after releasing my first attorney and although they might have done a reasonable job, none compared to Stephen. I can give a 5 star review as a client with no previous knowledge of Stephen and any future clients wanting a family lawyer will be very impressed. Thank you both, Stephen and Julie.

Steve did a great job and was very professional. He always gave me honest feedback and advised me numerous times not to go down emotional routes that would just force me to pay him more money and accomplish nothing. He knows the ins and outs of the process and was more interested in getting me to an agreement than making an extra buck off me by dragging things out. This is absolutely not what I would expect from an attorney in this field and of course is everyone's greatest fear. He was very reasonable in what he did charge me and I have zero regret picking Steve. If you're looking for someone who will give you honest answers (vs. the answer/promise you want to hear), will call you back, answer your emails, not waste your money, and whose assistants are also extremely helpful, Steve is your guy.

I'm a rapper (St.Lunatics)..... My ex-wife and her attorney where (for lack of better word) screwing me over big time for 4yrs !!!!! ....... Long story short, I hired Super Man (Steve) and IT WAS OVER !!!! Their 4yr "pick on me" party ended in 3 months (which actually on two court visits)..... He is the GREATEST !!!! He's young , eager & not lazy like other excuse making attorney's!! Once again .... The BEST , GRRATEST & just a cool guy !!
