Great team of lawyers that care about their clients.

Jonathan was a great choice for a lawyer. He was very professional and calming. He has expert knowledge and was able to help me achieve the best possible outcome for my case. I could not have asked for better results. I even called him the night before court and had him redo all the paperwork and he had it completed and ready to go! I am very pleased that I chose Jonathan to represent me! Thank you Marks Law Firm!!!

I used Jonathan Marks for both my initial divorce proceedings and a recent motion to modify. He and Debbi are prompt in returning phone calls and emails. Jonathan understood (and was able to deal with) my roller coaster emotions during the entire process and he always made me feel comfortable during phone calls and meetings.. He was able to communicate the facts of my cases and i always knew the realistic expectations for outcomes. I especially liked that he fought for me to get what I deserved and what the law said I could get based on the evidence. Although he was certainly willing to go to trial if I did not get what I requested, he worked to get these results via a settlement. Although divorce stinks and there really are no 'winners', in the end, I was extremely happy with the outcomes.

My experience with the Marks Law Firm and specifically, Jonathan Marks, was exceptional. Jonathan has handles several legal matters for me over the past several years and I have been extremely satisfied with all the outcomes. Debbi in the office has also been a pleasure to deal with. The communication from the law office was always timely and I have referred several individuals and businesses to his firm and will continue to do so in the future.

Jonathan and Debbi provide responsiveness, deep expertise, and balance to help navigate the legal waters during a very difficult situation. Even more impressive to me though, is the fact that over the years, as the unanticipated questions of life continue, the responsiveness and expertise from the team continue as well.

Jonathan Marks was probably the worst choice I've ever made in hiring an attorney. Over the course of just a few months of "retainer based services"), he Completely ignored a business issue I brought to him (and paid handsomely for in retainers!), which brought an end to my (formerly rapidly expanding) business of 4 years (and over 1mm$ in G/R); Allowed himself to be entangled in a severe conflict of interest (representing two or more parties with directly conflicting or contradictory interests - you can only serve ONE master, as the saying goes!): this conflict was "resolved" at MY expense, but quietly and without me noticing until it was FAR and away too late to do anything about it; Failed to appear at court or file the appropriate paperwork on time, which resulted in me getting strikes on my license for a minor ticket, as well as 4 arrests, as he never seemed to be able to properly "clear" the warrant HE had created by failing to just do what he charged (damn near $1,000.00!!!) for; And lastly, his "billing practices" would make L. Ron Hubbard (the founder of the fake religion/cult of $cientology), blush with embarrassment. I should have listened to the Judge and filed a bar complaint - unfortunately, I was just too burned out at that point to care: because of my failure to pursue a complaint, I hope I was not responsible for anyone else getting shafted by this smooth talking but ultimate charlatan.
