The problem I had wasn’t big. In fact, that was my concern as I considered hiring a lawyer – is it worth the time, is it worth the effort, is it worth the money? I was being taken advantage of by an insurance company, and, of course, by their client, but, I wondered, should I push this. It isn’t much money. Will it be worth it? Shouldn’t I just let it slide. Bit I knew I was right in my claims, and more importantly, I felt I was being wronged – taken advantage of. However, I had never been in a situation like this before. How do you fight? I felt powerless. I felt as though I had lost before I started. Where do I begin, I wondered? However, a friend told me about Mr. Green, a lawyer he had used often and trusted implicitly. I called Scott, and he immediately set my mind at ease. My problem, he told me, was a common problem – happens all the time, he said. Others expect you to feel weak – they count on it. Scott took care of the situation with a few phone calls, a couple of letters. My small concern was handled as if it was his most important case, or so it seemed to me. Mr. Green is the only lawyer I have ever used. He is professional, caring, and, honestly, he seems to be a good man. I will trust him again.

I do NOT recommend and would never refer anyone to Attorneys Ilya Ruvinsky and Scott H. Green due to the following reasons. I am a truck driver who was rear ended by another vehicle in 2015. I was referred to these attorneys from my employer. At that time, I was unaware that I had a case against my employer and had the right to workers compensation. When I consulted with Ilya Ruvinsky he did NOT mention workers compensation. Ethically he should have not taken my case at all due to a conflict of interest because he is friends with and has represented my previous employer. He only wanted to pursue the party who rear ended me. Knowing what I know now, I really regret hiring this law firm for my case. As a client, I had the right to know all my options before being pressured into choosing this law firm. After almost 2 years, the case was finally settled for $22,000 and after their 33% fee and the medical bill deductions I was left with only $6,104.95 for my pain and suffering. To this day, I am still suffering from numbness and pain that has affected my quality of life. Later when I tried to discuss this matter with both attorneys, they both were rude and unprofessional to me. Clearly, since they received their money, they didn’t feel the need to address my complaints and they told me to not contact them again. I plan on contacting the Missouri Bar Association and the Better Business Bureau regarding their conduct towards me. If you have a personal injury case, I would not hire these attorneys. Make sure you research many attorneys so you know what all your rights are because you will ultimately have to live with the consequences, pain and suffering.
