I want to recommend the services of Oakes & Fosher to anyone who has had an issue with a broker/dealer/financial advisor who may have abused their authority, invested unsuitably or misrepresented information resulting in losses. I had an extremely unfortunate experience with a financial advisor I paid to invest my retirement savings, resulting in losses so great I was in sheer panic. Oakes & Fosher handled every detail of the arbitration with the FINRA board. They, and their staff, kept me in the loop every step of the way. They helped set my expectations, gave me amazing emotional and legal support, and honestly saved my retirement future by recovering nearly all of my losses. Losing money in the stock market is not an unusual event, but having someone you trust misrepresent or just stupidly take actions that devastate your savings is almost paralyzing. I don't intend to ever let this happen again. I learned a lot from these gentlemen, and I would call them in a heartbeat, and I'd recommend them to any family member or friend who found themselves in similar situations. They really are experts, and I would be lost had I not worked with Oakes & Fosher to resolve this terrible event in my life.

Recently, we went through a six-day arbitration hearing in Denver, CO. Bruce Oakes was "THE" most fantastic legal mind we could possibly have to represent us. He was prepared, always engaged and brilliant! He is down to earth and very comfortable to be around. We won our case and received an even higher settlement then we had asked for.
