Anthony Phillips was great and helped with my legal matter for Debtor Defense. Anthony and Mark Stephenson were great and kept me informed. Don't know what I would have done without them, they saved me a lot of money.

Anthony Phillips agreed to represent me in a legal issue I was having. He asked for $15,000 to cover everything up to trial which was a deposition and motion to suppress. He scheduled the deposition then cancelled it and then told me that he was rescheduling it. He then sent me a letter stating that he was withdrawing from my case. He sent me notice of the hearing one day after the hearing which caused me to miss the hearing it also caused me to be unaware that my next scheduled court appearance had changed which caused me to miss that appearance then the next appearance. A warrant was issued for my arrest and I was arrested 10 days before the date that I was originally scheduled to appear. Anthony Phillips didn't move my case forward one inch. He filed a motion for disclosure and made about 4 or 5 appearances with me and then quit and kept my money. If you want someone who will tell you he'll do something then take your money, do nothing then quit, this is the man. He does dress well and looks good and he's respectful. He was always on time and he's a friendly likable man. In all fairness he did tell me in the letter that I had a new court date. I didn't make it that far in the letter. I started looking for a new attorney. If he would have given me notice of the hearing before the hearing I would have gone to the hearing and hopefully been given a chance to tell the judge that I paid him $15,000 and he didn't do anything that he agreed to do. I don't have an issue with him withdrawing from my case. I have an issue with him withdrawing and keeping my money. When it came time to file the motion to suppress he said that he wanted me to pay him another $15,000 for my trial. If the motion to suppress was successful there wouldn't be a trial. We hadn't made any agreement about trial other than it would cost an additional $15,000 for him to represent me. He was the one who insisted on the deposition. We didn't need it but I wanted to hear what the officers reasoning was on some things he had done and this would be my only chance to hear it. Basically it comes down to he doesn't want to make the prosecutor mad by insisting that they have to follow the rules. I'm going to file a complaint with the OCDC and see what they say. Maybe I'm wrong. But I had $15,000 to pay for a motion to suppress and a deposition. Now I don't have $15,000 and I still need an attorney for a motion to suppress and a deposition. He won't respond to my emails and the law firm he was working for is out of business. I just can't understand how he thinks that he can just keep my money. My attorney before him ripped me off as well. I pray to God that I don't have to deal with another attorney for the rest of my life. If you want to plead guilty he would be a good attorney. They're all good at that though.

Anthony is an excellent attorney. He has been honest and supportive during my divorce and child custody case. He is punctual and is good at communicating hard to understand situations and circumstances that have come up. His prices are fair and he has fought for my cause during a very troubling time.
