Marc Licata, his staff and family are some of the best people I know. A year ago I was diagnosed with cancer and had numerous medical bills and little income due to missed work for medical treatment. With three young children, this put my family in an unfortunate situation. I found myself not only fighting for life but also battling financial issues and fighting for everything I had worked for. We went and talked to Marc and it is with tears in my eyes that I tell you he took that burden so I could focus on my health. We were strangers to bankruptcy and had no idea what to do. He answered every question, was patient and kind. He knew the names of our children and remembered details about our life-always asking how my treatment was going and how my health was. We never felt like just a "client", we felt like family. In a very personal situation, this made all the difference. I can not say enough about Marc Licata! Filing bankruptcy means swallowing your pride and can be hard to do, especially when you are a person that tries not to have outstanding debt or "need" help from anyone. Not only was this firm helpful and affordable, but Marc Licata was kind and understanding, and helped ease the guilt that comes with having to file. He helped me to understand that sometimes it's the only option, and that I had exhausted all other means of taking care of my family. We had a great experience. Everyone at Licata was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Any time we had an issue they worked with us to remove it as quickly and painlessly as possible. I felt very confident in them and we didn't have any issues when it came time to go to court or when we completed our discharge.

Serious health issues and piling medical expenses led us to call Licata Bankruptcy Firm. We were able to get an appointment with in a week of calling. Mr. Licata was very understanding and went through our information very thoroughly; after reviewing Mr. Licata determined it would be in our best interest to wait approximately 6 months to file as doing so would save us an additional $6,000 -$8,000 in the long run. He had us sign a retainer so that if we were to get any collection calls we could direct those callers to his office from that point forward, and not be constantly bothered. Mr. Licata made us feel very comfortable while explaining all of our options. We would highly recommend his service to anyone.

Worked with them 7 years ago. They were honest, and very easy to work with from start to finish. They actually give you the tools you need to be successful as you go through the process. I had to get paperwork from them to verify information for a lender to purchase a house and they still get it done. They remember you by name and are eager to help no matter what your situation is.
