They are based out of Seattle, WA. And they do not stand solid with potential lawsuits unless the company has more than 1000 employees.

I recently reached out and completed the questionnaire to represent me in a potential EEOC meditation. After my questionnaire was submitted and hopefully reviewed, they decided not to take on my case for whatever reason. I felt the decision was unfair with poor review/judgement. I was never given a fair chance to provide details that supports my charge.

I contacted this firm on March 20th on a time-sensitive legal matter. And was called back by there extremely nice receptionist who said I should have a "Legal Strategy Session" with their attorneys which I needed to pay for upfront, at a cost of $475. Which me and my wife did not have. And we explained to them everything that has happened in the last year and we have a very valid claim. No one contacted me and it took me contacting then to recieve the email that they wont represent me. Even in the email they sent there is no reasoning why they could not represent me which comes after the receptionist informed me if we played the funds we would be able to speak to a lawyer about my lawsuit.

So I was scheduled to do my intake today at 10:40 A.M and I received an email stating I have to reschedule because Daniel couldn’t reach me. I called the company a couple minutes later letting them to know my phone is set up to not receive blocked calls. So I asked the receptionist could she forward me to Daniel she stated he was on another call that fast. She said she could send me a intake email. But I’ll rather talk to human to explain my case. Long story short she wouldn’t accommodate me at all. Keep cutting me off while I was speaking. I asked to speak to someone higher up and stated her supervisor was “busy”! Thanks for not helping!

I called in to this law firm to get more incite on If they could help me. The first time I called the hold music played for a little bit and then someone answered but they never said anything I said hello twice and then hung up once I didn't get a response. I called back a few minutes later and a man answered he was very rude from the beginning. I let him know I was calling in for possible assistance he cut me off and said he first off wanted to let me know how the process works. He let me know that someone would contact me in 3 business days after they had received my information.. okay that was fine. As he started asking me questions he was dry and rude and kept asking me to repeat everything as if he could not hear. I was feeling very uncomfortable but I really just wanted to push through all of the questions but I wasn't able to. The man then proceeds to tell me to give a brief summary of the situation as I am giving him the details he cuts me off and say I need everything in chronological order (which I was giving him the details in order). So I let him know that and he then cuts me off again while raising his voice at me being very unprofessional at that point I told him I no longer wanted to give him any information and to have a nice day. As I am saying have a nice day he hangs up on me. To say that conversation was unprofessional is a understatement. That man is bad for business. I am positive that if the attorneys he work for knew he treated their potential clients that way that he would be fired!! I have worked in customer service for almost 10 years and I know for a fact this isn't the way that a customer or potential customer should be treated. After that encounter I will NOT work with this company and I would NOT refer anyone to this company. Whoever runs this business should definitely listen to our conversation (if it is recorded) to see how nasty this man was to a young women who was trying to conduct business!

They have been reviewing my case for 70+ days, in which they originally claimed it was going to take 2-3 days. All of the sudden, they ghosted me. Update (2/21/2023, old review was about 3 weeks prior): I told them I would update my review. I am updating it from 1 to a 2 stare review. They did contacted me after a while. I they neither accepted or deny my case. They want up to 12k+ to get the ball rollen. Or I can get the ball rollen, the agencies has no way to start the paper work or it is down or won't respond. I get they have the right to charge money. I don't think it is ethical to demand money up front from client who is unemployed and have no money. Especially when it took 80+ days to review my case, when it only should take about 2-3 days. SIDE NOTE: If you want me to edit or remove my review, do the right thing. Update (2/24/23): Changing my rating back down to a 1. I did let them know about issues with the agencies on 2/21. No response. I will update/change my review If they respond.

Was told after completing their intake process that I’ll hear back in 3 business days. 10 days passed without response so I reached out again and was told my case was “being escalated”. It’s now been 20 days no response on my wrongful termination and employment discrimination claim, yet they have time to respond to Google reviews. Very unprofessional.

Cody was absoutley wonderful to work with. He made the entire process go so smoothly. Communication with him was a breeze - he would reply to texts or emails extremely fast. He always made sure to keep me up to date on everything that was happeneing. Highly recommend working with him!

This is my second time working with Cody Reinberg. His services are unmatched! Cody has kept me updated throughout the duration of my case which started in 2022 and has been very informative. He has given great advice and explained everything to me in a matter that I could understand. Both times Cody displayed empathy, support, and professionalism. Not only that, Cody made sure that I received the necessary medical treatment that was needed for my injury. I wish Google would allow more than five stars, because his services deserve a higher rating. I would highly recommend Cody and HKM to family and friends needing legal advice and representation.
