Lack of attention and delays in case progress
“I hired Mr.Heany on a Guardian and Conservatorship. We had trouble contacting him on several occasions and feel like he didn't give the case the attention it needed. Everything went terribly slow and we had to resubmit the same paperwork on three occasions because it was outdated. The whole experience was a struggle. Very disappointed in the service.”

Questionable legal strategy and advice
“Mr. Heany did not represent my grandson in his criminal case well at all. So many questions that were not asked during the trial made me question his knowledge of criminal law. Also, he advised the defendant to agree to a bench trial vs a jury trial. After corresponding with two criminal attorneys in the KC area they both believe that was not in my grandson's best interest.”
