This was my second opportunity to use you folks firm for my work comp case(s), the first case was long and lengthy. When my husband was denied coverage by State Fund/Workers' Compensation, we called Odegaard Miller. Greg Overturf was the lawyer who called us back, and we could not have been in any better hands anywhere else. Greg explained every convoluted detail as we worked our way through the suit, and he was patient enough to repeat himself when our lack of experience couldn't keep up with the legal and medical hoops we had to jump through. Whenever State Fund made a countermove, Greg explained what the maneuver meant and what to expect next. He was always calm, honest, straight-forward, and respectful. TLDR: These are the people you want on your side. Especially if you are going up against Walmart. This is as short as I can make it with as little soap-boxing as possible. More than a few years ago my father was hurt on the job at Walmart. Walmart is huge and terrible. Workman's comp is convoluted and confusing because giant corporations, like Walmart, have lobbied it that way to try and not pay for any of their actions. Medicare and Health insurance is even more convoluted and confusing for even more of the same terrible reasons. Lucas Wallace helped my father navigate through the Walmart and workman’s comp red tape. My father has nothing but good things to say about Lucas Wallace. Somewhere along the line 18 months after everything was finalized, Medicare said that workman's comp should have been billed instead of Medicare. This was not true. I honestly don’t understand what went wrong with Medicare and/or workman’s comp, but I do know that Lucas Wallace or my father was not to blame. Recently, I found out that he was getting 15% of his social security deducted because of this supposed wrong billing to Medicare. This was a massive percentage to take out of not that much money. After I tracked down all the people and spoke to all the agencies involved, I was beat down. From the numerous confusing interactions with Social Security trying to track down the reason for the deduction to the human-garbage at the collection agency that acted like my father and I stole money out of their pockets, I was just done. I was fortunate enough for my father to remember the name of the lawyer who helped him so much the first time. As a super longshot, I got everything together and called Lucas. He was super helpful, no joke, he was on it. That day he sent appeals to the places that needed them and used whatever other magic he wields to help. Not even two weeks after I contacted Lucas we received refund checks in the mail. Lucas, I cannot express to you how much of a difference you made. From our first interaction of you listening and wanting to help, to you following through and getting those refunds back for my father. Honestly and truly, thank you.
