I was facing serious federal charges and the court appointed me Alberto Silva. He wasn't doing anything I asked of him and wouldn't listen to anything I said so I fired him and got Mr. Schense. He was willing to go to trial for me and was honest with everything that was happening and kept me updated on my case. When he was appointed to me he came to see me in jail within a week to talk to me and ask my side of the story. He got me a lesser charge and I only got 24 months. Highly recommend him! I would probably still be in prison right now if I never fired my other attorney and got him.

If I could give no stars I would. First of all as soon as he gets his money from you he does not care. My case which was open and shut took over a year. I had to miss work, for court because he just wanted to continue the case due to the state not being ready. Is that my fault that the state is not ready. He would not speak with me, I got 5 min before court and 5 min after court if i was lucky. I paid him $3000 and still got sent to jail. He said dont take it to trial, so I listened.....Now the funny thing is my ex (the one who set me up) is now charged with my charges.....I have to find a better person to now get my charges expunged because Donald did not care about me or my kids. DO NOT GO TO HIM.....IF YOU DO PAY LATER!!

To whom it may concern. My name is Jason Stonewall. I am the sole legal and physical custodian of My 7 year old son. My son and I are African American. Today, it is important, you the reader, understand what that means. I am writing today to offer my gratitude to Mr. Schense for the way he represented me. I am not wealthy. Nor do I need to be. Working with Mr. Schense is nothing like you see on tv. Remember that. He is a human being who demonstrated the ability to empathize and project my distress to the courts in a manner which allowed my son’s mother to keep her dignity, if she wanted to. Over the past 6 years I have observed Mr. Schense represent individuals with little or no hope in their eyes. What others saw as hopeless or an opportunity to profit, it is my opinion, based on my experience and observations that he has the ability to pull hope out of nowhere. Perhaps it’s the way he treats others with high regard and respect. We have had our disagreements about my cases but at the end of it all I know my son’s future was being represented by a gentleman with just enough shark at just the right time to be effective. I cannot guarantee you will be victorious under his watch, that’s not for me to know. What I do know is Mr. Schense knows his way around a courtroom and his experience is easy to see. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand and answer your every email and phone call and soothe your every worry go watch Matlock. But if you want an attorney who is real and very capable of representing you then bring your honesty and integrity to the table when you meet.

Really cares about his clients. Will do whatever to get you the best deal possible. I’ve used him twice and have had nothing but smooth and easy communication when it comes to what you want. Highly recommend.

Don is the best most aggressive attorney but more than that the guy actually cares and fights for what right. I’ve used him for several cases during messy divorce and he went above and beyond for me. Typical attorney doesn’t answer calls a lot slow to respond. But don’t think he’s not working cause that’s all he does. Well worth the money in my opinion the best criminal civil attorney in Omaha and Bellevue.

Wasn't very impressed. Called and left a message about a case my wife and I had. He called back, left message saying I need to leave him a more detailed message. I called again, voicemail again but left a longer more detailed message. Never received a call back. Would be respectful to at least let me know he doesn't want the case.
