I am so thankful I was referred to Steffanie. She cared about my situation and worked hard for me to have the best resolution possible. I have already given her name to some of my friends!

I went to Angie for adoption. With the process we also had to file for abandonment on my daughters bio-dad so my husband could adopt my daughter. I first went to a different law firm. When things kept getting messed up and months dragging on with the other firm. I made the BEST choice to fire that attorney and HIRE this amazing women! Within 2 months of hiring her, things were filed correctly with the courts. Hearings were set and kept. Things were done very professionally! My husband and I felt very comfortable having Angie as our attorney. We got the adoption approved December 3rd 2018. Finalized December 10th! It’s been a blessing since. I would recommend everyone and anyone to hire Angie for any family matter. Thank you, Angie.

I have been through several guardianship cases with Ms Kotik and can say that she has my utmost respect. She is a compassionate attorney and actually cares about the folks she represents. She does so much for so many, and while at times may be spread a bit thin, she has always come through when she was needed. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do.

This review is specific to Steffanie Kotik. Ms. Kotik is very kind. However, I would recommend seeking a different attorney for child custody cases. As you can see from the photos her accounting practices are way off. She'll send you monthly invoices saying you have X amount of dollars left of your retainer. Then when you terminate her services she will send you a case report that basically doubles the time and fees for everything from the beginning of services and adds things that were not even on the original invoices. She deceives you in thinking you have more money left and when you confront her accounting practices she states the invoices were never accurate. She just wanted you to believe you had money left. Also, she will have you sign affidavits before they are done and not even show them to you before they go to the judge. You can see our email exchange where she finally sent me the affidavit 13 minutes before the hearing and it contained inaccurate information. She also stated she had filed an amended motion that was very important to my case and never actually did until about 6 weeks later. She will charge you for email exchanges but then when having a conversation with you be surprised by what you are telling her even though you've included the information in previous emails. This was a child custody case. Nothing is more important to me than my children. Because of so many missteps along the way I had to seek another attorney and pay for everything again. I strongly recommend seeking someone else who will do things right the first time.

I’ve worked with both Steffanie and Angela on different cases. They are both very professional and helpful. Steffanie was great at directing us to additonal help we needed concerning our foster daughters case and Angela was great at keeping my mind at ease as we worked through our case she was representing us and has answered questions and provided documentation long after the case was finalized. I would and have recommended them to friends and will use them again in the future with any other needs we may have arise.

Stephanie did a great job while representing me helping to keep my grandchildren out of the foster care system. Thank you Stephanie.

Big NO NO NO. Definetily would not recommend. Never seen or heard that a lawyer can sit in the court and say no freaking single word to protect her client when alot where promised before. That’s what happened to my family. What people pay you for?!!!

Don’t know what she is doing. Do not recommend to anyone unless you wanna pay money for nothing!!!
