Sean was the last of three attorneys I hired in a drawn-out attempt to modify a pre-existing custody agreement for my son. The first had to resign after taking another job, and the second I had to fire for taking no action on my pending case and failing to return calls and emails. By the time I got to Sean, things weren't looking good for my case, and I was pretty worried that all the time and effort I'd spent so far would be for nothing. Sean quickly turned my case around, and for the first time, my ex's high-priced attorney became open to compromise. We came to an agreement that gave me much more time with my son, and we avoided a costly court hearing that had seemed inevitable before I hired Sean. In comparison to the other attorneys I worked with, Sean's excellence as an attorney became obvious to me from the moment I first walked in his office. Sean answered emails and calls promptly, he engaged the court and opposing counsel aggressively and without delays, and he provided me with sound advice and insight where others appeared reluctant or uncertain in guiding guide me on how to proceed. My case progressed quickly once he took over, where it had previously languished with various delays. His billing is honest- he doesn't write long flowery emails, send unneeded letters, create delays, schedule unnecessary meetings, etc in order to pad his bill, but he doesn't cut corners either. Instead his bills seemed to honestly reflect the time he spent, and he seems to work quickly. His hourly rate is a little more than other attorneys I worked with or looked at (not a lot), but I ended up saving money anyway because he got the job done so much more quickly and efficiently, and managed to avoid an expensive hearing. He was friendly, honest, open to communication, no-nonsense, and he clearly knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend Sean to anyone in the area who's serious about finding effective counsel.
