My attorney in Illinois contacted Mr. Walz on a Thursday to represent me in a Tribal Court in NE. He met with me and my family Friday and immediately filed the necessary documents to represent me on Monday. The hearing was over four hours long and he was able to get me everything I wanted and necessary to get my son back to Illinois. Hard working and thorough.

Heather Horst is a very knowledgeable and empathetic attorney. She gives her best to all of her clients. I would totally recommend her!

Heather Horst was awful, inconsistent, seemed to not know what she was doing. When we got to court, she barely asked important questions much less touch on subjects that were previously discussed to bring up. There was no follow up and this has now resulted in other parent getting things they shouldn't have and now the children have had to go through more challenges. Now we will be seeking another lawyer after 18 months to see if we can right some wrongs. Would not use her ever. And no I was not the "client" but my fiance was and I was involved from the start and in court.

I was super impressed with everyone at Walz Law office. They make you feel like you are priority #1.Everyone you call or talk to someone. Response time is quick and honest.

July 2020 my son called me in tears begging to come home because he didn’t want to live with his father any longer. I contacted Heather Horst with WLO to see what needed to happen. She was amazing about scheduling and even more fantastic about keeping us informed.! Everyone I encountered in the building was relaxed and friendly. A process I expected to take at least a year she managed to accomplish in just under two months. I would definitely recommend WLO to anyone who may be in the market for an attorney. As for Ms Horst thank you so much for helping to end my 4 year long nightmare.

James Walz is a very kind and caring person. He is amazing as a lawyer and I would recommend him to everyone I know. I am so glad I found him when I did. Heather is a very kind person also. She was great to work with if I couldn't work with James. She is always willing to help and if she can't figure it out then she is quick to get an answer from wherever she needs to.
