I have a custody modification that was difficult and complicated case where parental alienation exist. It was long, difficult and slow process and at the end I was able to see the light. I got the full custody of my son. I truly admire Philip his ability to see the big picture and his empathy. His paralegal Wendi is consistently responsive to my e-mails and attentive to my concerns. I would highly advise anyone needing family lawyer representation to seek out Phillip Katz and his excellent team. I found Phillip after being served with divorce papers shortly before Christmas of 2021. I have never needed a lawyer and really was at a loss. While it took close to a year to have my legal battle finalized; I couldn't have asked for better representation and final outcome. I retained Phil for a contempt action ultimately resulting in a complaint for modification of parenting time filed by my ex. Phil was always knowledgeable and and realistic about what our options were moving forward. He did a fantastic job of representing and negotiating what I wanted, and not wasting time or money in achieving it. As someone that’s unfortunately had to retain attorneys more than I’d like for parenting plan issues, I wish I would have gone to Phil to begin with. There is great value in an attorney who is honest, knowledgeable and realistic. All are values you get from Phil. Our new parenting plan is clear, concise, and has made for a better coparenting relationship. I hope not to NEED to retain his services again, but should I need to, I know I will be in good hands.

Philip and his staff shepherded me through my divorce. I always felt better after speaking with Philip. He took time to get to know me as a person, not just as a client. If you end up mediating a parenting plan, he works with the opposing attorney to insure you get a decent mediator vs. just leaving it up to the luck of the draw. I decided to return to my maiden name and he provided me with a separate document for this name change, so I didn't have to provide folks with my full divorce decree. I had hired Philip Katz in 2015. I had received a Complaint for Access Rights and Return of Child from my ex-husband and Philip was knowledgeable of the subject. He has stated that he had some experience with international child custody and he quickly reviewed my case. Philip helped arrange mediation for myself and ex-husband in which Philip help us come to an agreement in a short period of time. I had two court appearances in 2017 and 2019 which Philip represented me. The first court Philip was able to show to the judge that my ex-husband had decided to change his mind after an agreement was made during mediation. The Judge ordered that the items agreed upon during mediation to stand and not change. During the second court, Philip performed professionally and presented all of the evidence and questioned all witnesses with confidence. I won the second court with the help of Philip Katz. Both of my court cases were very difficult due to the nature of the cases. I am very glad about the outcome of each court case. Overall, Philip Katz is very professional and answered all of my questions that I had. His attention to detail was noticeable both during court and during meetings in his office. Miracle worker, first attorney I have ever recommended. Custody should be 50/50 because its America. But, its not yet. So if you need help with something complicated, Philip is a Godsend.
