I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the representation I received from this attorney. Like most of you I looked at the reviews and tried to make an educated decision based on previous clients and initial gut feeling being that I've never done this before. When trying to hire an attorney you would hope that they would fight for you in ways that you cant fight for yourself, Ive paid this attorney over $7k for him to not only be outdone by the opposing counsel but also for him to tell me "we don't have a strategy, its black and white and for the judge to decide". Everything he "tried" to do was always counteracted by the clearly superior opposing counsel with no real response other than him charging me for an email with minimal/ basic advice that I could have figured out without having to pay him for. To put it simply I have paid this man thousands of dollars in this 7 month process to only be at the same place I started... just with less money. Please do your homework and set clear expectations of what you want otherwise you will end up like me having to fire this attorney and finding another one. I don't need anyone to care about my circumstance just do what you're being paid for and do it effectively. I would not recommend hiring this person unless you have unlimited funds and don't care about wasting it.

My ex-husband and I used Chris Pomerleau for Mediation and it was such a simple and easy process. Chris and his paralegal, Lisa, are so easy to work with and they were on top of everything. They guided us through the process with great, open communication. Both Lisa and Chris are so organized and told us exactly what was needed, what the process was and kept us up to date on how things were going. You will always feel listened to, understood and responded to within 24 hours, if not sooner. My divorce was complex. Other attorneys didn’t want my case and were looking for cookie cutter solutions. Not Chris. He navigated muddy waters, learned about all of my daughters special needs, medical complexities and the power and control dynamics that plagued my marriage and divorce. If you have to go to court, as I did, you want Chris to be your voice. He is a strong advocate and fierce litigator for what you think is best for your child. Chris is smart, thinks quick on his feet and excels at strategy and organization. Opposing council had to bring in three legal professionals to go up against Chris. Chris found a way, against all odds, to get me and my children the best result possible. I trust him and am so grateful he was the attorney by my side!

Chris explained everything in detail, answered all our questions and never made either of us feel as though he was on one side or the other....very important for a successful mediation. He guided us through entire process and ensured we understood the legalities of divorce. Throughout entire process, he ensured we were confident and comfortable with outcome. Divorce is never easy, that said, Chris made is as easy and quick as possible. Mediation may not be for everyone but I would certainly explore before ending up in a very expensive divorce “battle”.

He was very professional and polite. I’m just glad I used him during a tuff time and he was always easy to contact. He made a great road map for me to follow during this sad time.

Chris was very knowledgeable and very up front from the beginning. He was well priced and approachable. I'd visited with other attorneys who advertise in the Omaha area and they were neither. I was mostly worried about getting fair numbers and he basically knew them immediately after looking at our incomes and histories. He plugged them into his calculations and we were off and running. Would recommend him as he took care of everything.

Recently completed my Divorce settlement. Chris was very helpful in explaining the whole process to me. I also felt he did his best to keep cost to a minimum. I felt he was concerned for the best outcome for me. I feel like I chose the perfect person to represent me and highly recommend Chris.
