he backstory is that my daughter's mother decided to move away and tried to take my daughter across the country away from me for no reason other than she wanted to move. I've been active and in my daughter's life since birth but due to my previous choice of attorney, almost lost this case. After almost a year of legal gamesmanship and being financially milked by The firm representing me previously a friend told me about Bruce and the Pecos law group. With only 45 days to trial that team put together a great argument and legal strategy that allowed the judge to clearly see what my daughter's mother was up to. I was involved in a long-term mess with my ex-spouse. Making matters worse, my ex-spouse’s attorney was non-responsive and extremely slow to do anything. I hired Bruce and the change was immediate. The day after I retained him, he sent letters and started the process of getting the case moving along. He also let me know the realistic outcomes that we may face along the way. Even more telling, he went above and beyond to let me know the best way to handle the matter so I was not spending too much money. His honesty, knowledge, and preparation was beyond my expectations. We had one court appearance and we achieved all of what we were going for. You could even tell Bruce has a great reputation as it seemed the judge was more inclined to listen to his position. When opposing counsel became desperate and began threatening us, Bruce responded immediately and let me know if it was anything we had to worry about. I can’t recommend him and his firm enough. They ended a 15-month nightmare and did so in a fair manner.

I was referred to Mr. Schapiro for family law, specifically divorce. I knew immediately it was the correct decision. Aggressive and Competent. Bruce moves fast, efficiently and covers every possibility. He produces far superior results in way less time. I made the unfortunate mistake of choosing a “convenient“ divorce lawyer that could have ruined me. Bruce not only had to fix my previous divorce lawyers mess, but has more than paid for the expense of his services, With his superior knowledge and capability. Knowledge and capability the other lawyers don’t have. By going through this unfortunate and difficult process of divorce, I have learned, a significant amount of divorce lawyers try to finish divorce the easy way with just filing paperwork. They don’t put the time or effort needed to truly help you through this process. Bruce does put the time and effort necessary into getting you through this process with the best possible outcome. Don’t make my mistake by choosing a poor lawyer first. Go with Bruce you’ll come out better on the other side.

I have use Mr. Shapiro on more than one occasion and, if necessary, would call him again. He is not your cheapest attorney in town but you get what you pay for when it comes to attorneys. I have found that Mr. Shapiro genuinely cares about what is right. I felt he was honest and not afraid to tell you no, just as much as he will tell you yes.
