I have known James Dean Leavitt for twenty plus years. He has helped me out of a couple of DUI's and Speeding tickets, he was able to get my sentence's and fine's reduced. I have recommended him to several members of the Local 88 Sheet-metal Worker's Union, who have also needed legal representation on a variety of charges. I have asked my President of my Local 88 Union to endorse him for his position as a Judge I know he will be an asset to our community. During his term as a member of the Board of Regents, he was one of the front runners pushing to get a new stadium at or around the UNLV Campus. I hope this will enlighten more member's of our Community to take a good look at his past service and consider him as the best candidate for the Judgeship that he is trying to obtain.

My boyfriend had some serious legal charges to where he was looking at 5-10 yrs federal time and through a friend he recommended James Leavitt. After meeting with Mr. Leavitt we felt more hopeful about his case. He said he would able to get my boyfriend charges dropped to a lesser charge with no jail time and probation instead. That's exactly what happened. My boyfriend got 2 yrs probation and some community service. He definitely is a man of his word. I would recommend him to anybody that needs a no BS lawyer, tells you the truth, reliable and gives you his all attorney.

James is the most compassionate and caring attorney I ever worked with who represented my interests. He was very hands on, always answered my calls or texts (even on weekends!) and really took the time to listen, and care about my case. His personal devotion- even during his off- to his clients is bar none. I was very agitated and upset, and James was really great in helping me relax and assure me everything was going to be okay. Due to his devotion to helping his clients, he got everything dismissed. When you’re going through a difficult time, he is a refuge that will always be fighting for you.
