I was driving on US 95 in the POV lane and was hit by a pickup truck that changed lane right into the side of my vehicle when the traffic slowed down in his lane. He then bounced back into his lane and hit the vehicle in front of him as well. NHP came and wrote the police report and the driver was cited for reckless driving and was found 100% at fault. I had my wife and kids in the car as well and there were some injuries and our vehicle was heavily damaged. He had Progressive Insurance company and their handling of our case was absolutely appalling from the beginning to end. They stopped communicating with me about having my vehicle repaired in the middle of the process and their offered less than the medical cost in compensation. Luckily, Benson and Bingham were in my corner and after lengthy negotiations and threats of litigation, they finally gave in and gave us a very reasonable compensation. Our attorney worked tirelessly on our behalf to not only get the insurance company to pay but also to get the medical costs down. She negotiated with every clinic we had to visit and did a fantastic job. Things turned out well above expectations and we are extremely pleased with B&B. I give them my highest recommendation if you are unfortunate enough to be injured in an auto accident.
