I recently had the pleasure of working with Ghandi Deeter Blackham law firm to establish a living trust and a living will. As I am expanding my business portfolio and the way my significant other and I have our assets setup, it was important for us to establish a living will and trust. Laura Deeter and her team are amazing!! 🤩 From our initial consulatation, it was clear why they came so highly reccomended and I knew I was in good hands! As someone who is new to estate planning, Laura walked me through the intricaies of setting up my living will and trust, and ensured I understood every step. One aspect that stood out about my experience was the personalized attention I received. Laura and her team took the time to tailor my estate plan to fit our specific needs. I am in my early 30s with no intention of having children, but I have nieces and nephews whom I want to pass along my assets to. There are a few other aspects that are unique to our situation, but Laura offered thoughtful advice and recommendations that aligned perfectly with our goals. She addressed the specific aspects of our situation with great attention to detail, which gave me the confience in the final documentation. The communication between Laura, her staff, and myself was top notch as well. I'm not a big fan of phone calls, but I remember in my intake paperwork I set my preference to text or email only. Being able to communicate via text throughout the entire experience was quite convenient! Everytime they emailed me an important document, I received a friendly text from the staff letting me know what they sent. They were always responsive and accommodating, and promptly addressed any follow-up questions I had. In the end, I am extremely satisfied with my living will and trust they helped establish and form for me. The peace of mind I have gained from knowing my affairs are in order is truly invaluable. I recently had a consultation with Brian and I must say, he exceeded my expectations. He patiently answered every single one of my questions, and made what seemed like a complex issue very easy to comprehend. Contrary to the negative comments I had read about his practice, I never got the impression that he was solely motivated by money. In fact, I was initially hesitant about engaging his services, but after speaking with him, my confidence was restored. Brian was forthcoming about potential costs I might encounter depending on the path I chose, and even suggested other alternatives I could consider if I decided to work with another lawyer.
