Pros: office is clean, promptly response, and payment plan options. Cons: Staff is unprofessional, you don’t know who is handling your case, staff lacks communication skills. I went to their office, sign, and paid 50% of the total fee. Nancy and Michael assisted me and assured that my husband’s case was easy since they deal with gambling cases. When I would call, the office refused to speak to me because it wasn’t my case, even after my husband called and emailed them stating that I was the person to speak to, they would say yes to him but NO to me. Every month they automatically took their payment from my account, but refused to speak to me. When my husband send them an email requesting they contact him so he can pay them, the stupid receptionist took it as, “Take the payment from my wife’s credit card.” My husband still had to pay the court and obtained a misdemeanor for gambling fraud.

First off, let me say from personal experience and from having friends and relatives as attorneys in other states, that it is crucial to be represented by established, professional lawyers to prevent being taken advantage of by the US justice system. Fortunately, I found Las Vegas Defense Group. The paralegals were very friendly and able to walk me through step by step, as laws and procedures are different from state to state, before I even hired the firm. One of the best things about retaining Las Vegas Defense Group is their entire firm really does help with the case. Our lead attorney was Michael Castillo. We met on multiple occasions to discuss options and strategy. Michael gave us recommendations and possible outcomes, but made it clear that the final decision was ours. He ended up getting us a plea deal that was better than anything we had even considered. He is clearly good at his job and very experienced. Our case manager was Eric Trolson and he went above and beyond in every aspect of his job. He was always in contact with us, literally available 24/7, explained every detail of our case and what to expect. He went over each motion that would be filed on our behalf, each hearing (which a lawyer appeared on our behalf at each one except the actual plea bargain), and really made us feel comfortable. He answered every question we had. We were able to live our normal lives during the whole process.
