Extremely unprofessional, Should be able to give Zero Stars. I was happy with the initial response to my inquiry regarding a potential case and the cost but as I was retaining them I got the we think this case is going to cost double. Really three weeks later as I'm retaining them. If that was the real cost why not tell me the upfront? Shady bait and switch! If you want your money to be taken then hire these people.

This firm is absolutely incredible! Except for one attorney to steer clear from. Terry Moore is a disgrace of an attorney, if you could even call him that. He’s a child and acts as such when handling cases. He is a bigot, to speak kindly. It’s a wonder he passed the bar exam with his incompetence. Every other lawyer i’ve had the pleasure of dealing with there is amazing. He drags the firm down.

My wife and I were being bullied by a Nevada-based company that we owned stock in, so I researched Law firms and decided on Marquis Aurbach Coffing (MAC) because of the ratings and level of cases they’d prosecuted and defended. I called the phone number on the website, and, although nearly retired at that point, Al Marquis, one of the founders of the firm, answered, and took my call, on a Sunday afternoon no less!. I was both shocked and impressed, and knew in that moment that this was the firm to use. Al immediately connected me to Collin, a fellow Wisconsinite, and we began to move forward. In addition, Al assigned Terry, a senior within the firm, to the case; this was the very first time in my entire life where I felt that I had the entire weight of the firm behind me, instead of a single attorney assigned to the case. Collin, as a matter of process, reached out to other attorneys within his firm who specialized in different areas to benefit from their years of collective experience. My wife and I were the plaintiffs in this case. The defendant (the company) used every -- and I mean every -- trick in the book to stall the proceedings so as to run my wife and I out of money and emotional energy. Collin reassured me that we were in the right, and ultimately, after one day of what was planned to be a three-day arbitration, we were able to settle the dispute. I’d personally like to take this opportunity to thank Al Marquis for making this possible, Collin and Terry for making it happen, and the entire firm for using all of their collective training and experience to help my wife and I be successful in this case. The bottom line is that in my 58 years of existence on this earth, I’ve never worked with better attorneys or with a better law firm. From the first meeting with Mr Loftus, we were confident that we could trust and count on him 110%. Phone calls, texts, and emails were consistently returned and he always had an answer to our questions. Mr Loftus was incredibly professional and compassionate, taking the time to understand the difficult nature of our case. He presented us with options and arguments for the best outcome at a reasonable cost. Robert Loftus is an excellent attorney who we highly recommend.

Avece Higbee of Aurbach and Coffing has fraudulently billed the Meridian HOA as determined by a state investigation. She then gave an obscure and false account of that investigation at a public recorded homeowner's meeting. Her legal rulings have repeatedly undermined the law to aid Mr. Schurer the Meridian HOA President who runs the business IMS Realty. A state investigation found him guilty of pilfering from the HOA, concealing his business against state laws and breaking his fiduciary duty to alter an election - all with the aid of Avece Higbee. She will almost certainly be disbarred and possibly sent to prison once a forensic audit is conducted. Until then she is sheltered at Marquis and Aurbach and operating out of reach of authorities buffered by laws preventing state sanctions to HOA lawyers. (This business was formerly known as Marquis Aurbach and Coffing. Mr Coffing departed soon after Ms. Higbee's HOA fraud scheme came to light.)
