Bankruptcy is a last resort for most people and a stressful time in most couples life’s. We filed a chapter 13 and made our monthly consolidation payments for nearly 5 years. Once at the end of the tunnel and finally seeing the light, we discovered that our original attorney had retired a literally packed up and left town. So a stressful time in our life just got worse.
