Ive had other lawyers in the past and although they did their job; I will recommend Lee and I have to say, he is a Hi Performance Lawyer in my honest opinion.

“Lee Hotchkin, Esq., recently represented me in a complex DMV felony case related to my hotly contested divorce, regarding a title transfer issue, related to attempting to repair a vehicle that I had purchased new in 2003 with community income… that was involved in a minor accident that the other driver admitted fault, mutually trading insurance information. Due to COVID restrictions and courthouse closings, Lee Hotchkin was able to postpone the hearing for almost 3 years (with my approval) while strategically negotiating with the DA to plea bargain a trumped up felony charge that was filed by two of my older children, who were given my 50% proxy community interest in our estate without my consent, who never invested a single dollar in our LLC’s, nor the vehicle that it was titled under, all at the prodding of my soon to be ex-wife. The complexity of combining a ridiculous exaggerated felony charge, with a seemingly never ending divisive divorce, involving over-emotional older children, was a potential recipe for a disastrous outcome… that Lee Hotchkin ultimately worked to our benefit… by pleading only to a minor misdemeanor, thus avoiding a felony trumped up charge and a time consuming trial…! Although, my attorney Lee Hotchkin and myself BOTH believed that we would have prevailed at trial had we decided NOT to settle… I realized that this legal episode was not worth the resources, emotional toll, nor the expense, to prove our point and innocence while possibly bearing the potential legal liability and outcome of having to go through a jury trial… and by taking Lee Hotchkin’s professional expert advice, we were able to obtain the best possible resolution… for the least expense… whereby by pleading “No Contest”, I also avoid being sued in the future… and in one year, Lee Hotchkin will “SEAL” my criminal record… as if this nightmare never happened…! Lee Hotchkin is the most honest Lawyer I've ever worked with or spoken to. Lee & Christine Hotchkin fought tooth and nail to prove my innocence on a case that was in my opinion next to impossible for anybody else to have won! His law firm had the knowledge, and patience to work with me on my case even though I had little to no evidence to prove my innocence. Still he listened to me, and trusted me when I told him I didn't do it. He does EXACTLY what he says he is going to do, he kept me in the loop and he followed through! I would highly recommend him for any cases throughout Rural Northern Nevada, my case was in a very small county and he was still able to represent me when most lawyers wouldn't have taken the case.

I was facing 3 felony charges sexual assault, strangulation, coercion, after a girlfriend dialed 911 one faithful night. Was dragged to jail twice, had an ankle bracelet on me for 3 months. Lee went beyond the call of duty trying to understand my case, met with me numerous times during the 3 months, even weekends on occasions. After a stressful 3 months, Mr Hotchkin was able to get my case dismissed without prejudice right before the pre-trial, I am very grateful to him and his family for the fact that i did not have to go through an ugly trial full of lies and police bias. In my humble opinion, Lee is the best attorney in the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe area when it comes to experience, tenacity and professionalism. He took my case which was a very serious felony case and succeeded in getting it completely dismissed. I was pulled over for no reason, wrote no citation. But they did search my rental van with my family in it. They seized 42k in cash from me that was personal hard earned tax paid money. I did not know you should not travle with cash, as we were going on a family road trip. Lee was very professional was able to get my money back to me in two months. Normally these are very hard cases to win from personal research I've done online. Lee was very fair and friendly I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

Contacted Lee Hotchkin after an internet search. I'm out of state and was looking to hire an attorney to deal with 4 separate charges my son acquired when he crashed a rental car in Nevada. Two of the charges where substantial and life altering if my son was convicted. Following Lee's advice and expertise-the result was better than we could have hoped for. We hired Lee to represent our kid who had gotten into trouble. The case was tough to start with as our kid was turned in by an informant so there was a lot of evidence against him.
