Love her, very aggressive and doesn't make you feel like a loser for filing bankruptcy. Very knowledgeable and puts you at ease with the whole process.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Darby Law. Trisha really puts the clients interest first. Trisha and the staff walked me through my options, paperwork, and next steps. I trusted them throughout the entire process. I’m happy to say I’m now on a better path and I appreciate all their help. I would recommend Darby Law to family and friends.

What can I possibly say that would convey how highly I think of Tricia Darby and staff?! I knew I was in financial trouble when my credit cards started being declined. I did the math and there was no way I could ever catch up and pay off my cards. The minimum payments were so high that I again had to use my cards to buy gas, propane for my home, maintenance problems that came up, etc. And yes, I did it to myself but the cards were also to blame in a way. They kept raising my available credit—one card raised my limit to $25,000 knowing my yearly income was about $22,000!! By the time I realized how bad my situation was I was about $500 a month in the hole without even considering food or gas or emergencies. When I first pulled up to the office I thought “oh, oh I must have picked the most expensive bankruptcy lawyer in town” ( I came because of all the positive Yelp reviews)— but don’t judge a book by its cover—I was able to pay the down payment with my first month of not having to pay my card minimums! And even though they’ll accept payments for the balance I was able to pay that off with my second month of not paying minimums!! Needless to say, I have been given a new lease on life with Tricia’s kind, non-judgemental help!!! What an awesome person/lawyer!!!!!

Tricia Darby helped us through one of the toughest periods of our life when the 2008-2009 great recession kicked our butts and sunk our little business. Thanks to her we are back on our feet and better than ever. Remember its absolutely not the end of the world and something that honestly makes the world of difference to you personally and financially. I wouldn't recommend anyone but Tricia Darby and her team to take care of you during this stressful time if you are having issues.

After 20 years in Management with my company I was forced to step down to a full time position which cut my income by half. I was forced to take a hard look at my situation. There was no way I could keep up with my creditors as well as taking care of my basic monthly needs. The only option I could see was to explore personal bankruptcy. I did some online searching for legal counsel and found Darby Law Practice. I read the online reviews and decided to reach out to Darby Law. I set up an initial meeting with Tricia Darby. I was very nervous, embarrassed and anxious when I got there. The first thing Tricia did was explain that this was a business decision and I had nothing to be embarrassed or anxious about. Tricia laid out a plan and counseled me through the process. I found the staff at Darby Law to be professional, considerate, and respectful through the entire process. I highly recommend this firm.

Tricia was amazing!! I knew in the first 5 minutes of speaking with her that she is straightforward and trustworthy. She actually helped me avoid bankruptcy and settle a civil lawsuit that had been hanging over my head for two years that may have forced me to file. She negotiated on my behalf wth the plaintiffs attorney and helped prepare the settlement agreement that helped me to avoid bankruptcy. I couldn't have done it without her and I am forever grateful for the work she did. Quite honestly it was refreshing to meet an attorney who doesn't talk in circles and create work to bill you more and more hours..she handled everything vey directly and spoke with me in terms that made the issues clearer not more confusing! Filing bankruptcy is a very hard thing to do and the legal process of it scared me. I am SO GLAD I found the Darby's!
