Anonymous In July, 2016 I was charged with a DWI 2nd Offense and faced severe penalties including jail time. Richard was recommended by another lawyer as an experienced, skilled and caring attorney. Richard was honest and straightforward. He made no promises about the outcome of the case but I always felt he was fighting for me. He kept me informed of the case proceedings and sought my input and support in any actions he wanted to pursue. The end result was a change in the sentencing to a lesser offense, no jail time and a reduction in the license suspension. I was very satisfied with the outcome and would highly recommend his services.

I am beyond pleased with Richard and his results. He has a great history in criminal defense and it shows. I would highly recommend anyone to Richard. His fees are very reasonable for the value he brings. For me, what was most important was his honesty and trust level. I felt comfortable discussing my case with Richard and knew he was working his hardest for a not guilty verdict, which was our outcome. Our son was scheduled to ship to Marine boot camp shortly after his high school graduation. This had been his goal since he was in middle school. He had worked hard, overcome a number of obstacles and was about to attain his dream. It was then that he made a couple of bad choices and found that despite all of his work his future plans were in jeopardy. "Not guilty" was the best thing I heard in a year and a half. I was originally charged with Manslaughter, then charged with an "alternative" charge of Negligent Homicide. This all started with a horrible accident with a death resulting. I sought the advice of two friends who had been involved in the NH legal system for many years. They recommended Richard Guerriero for a very serious criminal case. I met with Richard on a Sunday and could clearly see that he was a person of integrity. I thankfully retained his services. Richard worked long and hard to get what prosecution thought was good key evidence thrown out. He found an expert witness who refuted the validity of that evidence. Richard filed several long motions objecting to the evidence. After a two-day hearing, before the trial, the judge threw that evidence out of the case. This is what led to the prosecution dropping the manslaughter charge just before the start of the trial. We went to trial on the negligent homicide charge. Richard and his law partner, Ted, were completely prepared for trial and fought for me all the way. After three days of trial, the jury quickly returned a not guilty verdict. I cannot say enough good about Richard, Ted, Kristen, and all the other staff that worked so hard for me. I am not sure if I could have made it through without them. Richard, Ted, and Kristen are people I would very much like to call friends. I without a doubt recommend this team to anyone who is in need of legal representation in any criminal case. HNA

When our son was arrested for a serious crime, Richard Guerriero was recommended to us by two independent sources. At the initial consultation we knew immediately that he was the right person to defend our son. As well as being an experienced and skilled attorney, we found him to be straightforward, ethical, responsive, and caring. We were also pleased that he was upfront and fair about his fees. Even though it was a first offense and our son had never been in trouble with the law before, the nature of the charges could have resulted in a very lengthy prison sentence. Attorney Guerriero worked diligently with the prosecutor to get the amount of time reduced to below the statutory minimum. While we were at times impatient with the process and the delays in getting information, we soon realized that Attorney Guerriero was true to his word to take things one step at a time and keep us informed as soon as he could. He is conservative and cautious about expectations, never promising more than he can deliver. However, in our son's case, he delivered more than we could have expected or hoped for.

I found myself in need of an attorney a year ago. I hired Richard after speaking with a few other attorneys. This was definitely the right choice. He is professional, kind and honest. He fights for what he believes in. My life was literally in his hands & I could tell from the beginning he believed in me. He made no promises except to fight for me and this was all I needed. Charged with DUI, Speeding, and an Unbroken Line Violation. Ended up with a plea bargain for just the Speeding and the Unbroken Line Violation. Officer assumed I was drunk due to my breathe. Even after passing sobriety tests with flying colors. I refused to blow because it was unnecessary after passing the sobriety tests. Richard was very "realistic" with me. No promises or false hope, just the truth which I appreciated. Richard was very prompt in getting me the police report, my hearing, and everything else needed to win my hearing for my ALS, forcing the state to offer a plea bargain.

We unfortunately have had to call on an attorney on several occasions over the last several years. In one situation Richard was successful in mitigating the charge and in another made a more practical suggestion for confronting the issue. We've found Richard Guerriero both forthright and knowledgeable. I would recommend Richard and would look to him for guidance should the need arise again.

In April of 2014 my 19 year old daughter received a violation for Possession of Alcohol by a minor. Had I not contacted Attorney Richard Guerriero this violation could have resulted in her driver's license being suspended and in turn my auto insurance carrier would have dropped us. We are not from NH so I made several calls to different law firms in NH. I was told by 2 separate law firms (in other parts of the state) that Attorney Guerriero would be an excellent choice and they were right! He was able to get my daughter's violation dismissed with 30 hours of community service to be completed over a 5 month period which is a very generous deal. Attorney Guerriero is not only knowledgeable but also a really, really nice guy. I highly recommend him and I am very thankful I found him.
