He's been my lawyer for over 15 years Highly recommend !!!

I called and asked if He was accepting new clients. He asked me if I was a Spam caller, because they all start their convo that way. I was like whoa whoa whoa, not at all! I have been calling lawyers for 48 hours, that I genuinely need help. He was very rude and when I Started to cry saying I needed help getting my daughter back, he hung up on me!! I couldn't belive it. I called back asking why he hung up on me, that I need help, he simply hung up on me again. Would not recommend AT ALL.

If i could give zero stars, I would. This man is the epitome of a dirty lawyer. He was used as a GAL and literally did nothing other than listen to a narcissist even when all the evidence was there. He likes to hear himself talk, failed to answer questions in an efficient way and gave political answers, and took over the entire day in court talking his testimony and left us with barely enough time to actually get anything accomplished. He failed to interview people and look at previous case history, legal reports, and more, and instead, listened to fake stories by the other party. He only cares about money and not about whats best for families. Please beware he is not someone you want in your life.

Wanted to use him for mediation but was not impressed at all. First his body language (slouching down in his chair almost like we were bothering him or he was uninterested) then telling us that I had no rights to our home because my husband had purchased it prior to the 12 year marriage, even though he was still paying for it. I would definitely call someone else (as we did) if you have property division or just want someone that's unbiased.

Attorney Caulfield represented me in a divorce. He made a lot of bit talk, insisted on doing things his way and got us in front of associate justice Edward Ginsberg, a judge that he knew would rule against - the family. His inept handling of the case played into the hands of the slick opponent, who ran with every advantage. The results are profoundly damaged children, mind-boggling costs to the state and my personal and professional destruction. In retrospect, it is unclear if attorney Caulfield even understood the incompetence he demonstrated or the profound harm he caused to my family.

Joseph Caulfield is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to knowing his facts. He is always looking out for his client's best interest. He was able to get negotiate the best deal for myself reducing my penalties from a misdemeanor to a violation. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a criminal defense lawyer.

Attorney Caulfield agreed to take my case and represent me at a time when I was confronted with an immediate filing deadline for a critical court document attendant to a soon to be convened court appearance.. He immediately took control of the case and requested relevant documentation/information required to provide a complete and timely response to the court filing. Attorney Caulfield engaged in various other communiqués with the opposing party and always informed me of his initiative and the response he received. Prior to the court date attorney Caulfield attempted to resolve the case to avoid the time and expense of attending the court hearing and perhaps a follow up trial. Attorney Caulfield accommodated the scheduled hearing date, arrived early at court on the hearing date and was thoroughly prepared for the case. Attorney Caulfield remained focused on my case and exhibited and “economy of action” to the extent he did not engage in extraneous or superfluous communications In order to generate additional or unnecessary fees. As well, I appreciated the “reality checks” attorney Caulfield provided based upon his 30 plus years of legal practice.
