I unfortunately had a debt go into collection. From the first moment of speaking with Belinda Benson to our last conversation, she was fantastic! She was so helpful, polite and responsive. She helped with a flexible plan that worked for me more so than them. I paid over a two month period. It actually was a pleasure calling her to discuss my account and make payments. I would only deal with her. She was always extremely happy, pleasant and helpful, always asking how I was doing. I was very surprised at the treatment after hearing horror stories of the collection process and reading some negative reviews on here. I feel trying to go in with an open mind and some flexibility helped the process. This law firm was good, no complaints and I HIGHLY recommend requesting Belinda Benson to assist you!!

When checking my credit report recently, I discovered that I had a debt from a few years ago and called Schreiber Law to resolve it. I spoke with Belinda, who was extremely helpful and immediately put my mind at ease. We resolved the debt quickly, but I felt like I had made a new friend in Belinda. Who would expect calling a collector to be such a positive experience? I didn't, but I am glad that mine was. (Thanks, Belinda! If you're ever in Boston, we should do coffee.)

HORRIBLE. GARBAGE SERVICE. WHEN YOU TRY TO MAKE A PAYMENT. YOU CANT GET THROUGH. WHEN YOU DO GET THROUGH THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD N NEVER COME BACK.. FINALLY HAD ENOUGH. WORK FOR YOUR PENNIES...

Called them to pay off a debt that was on my credit I don’t deny it however the letters , contact attempts made to me were being sent to an address from 5 years ago ….. everyone knows postal only forwards for a year … person ask for my current address 4 times ….. 4 times … then tells me he will call me back wishing a hour … well it’s been 6 hours … watch they call when I’m no longer at this number …. It’s not my phone SMH .. I have never heard of a collection agency that won’t take your money

I recently paid off my debt and received 1 letter stating it's paid in full plus a copy of a letter they sent to the court house my debt is satifised. They didn't take me to court because i worked out a payment plan with Peter Gallo and he was very friendly and easy to work with. He was also very understanding when i couldn't make a payment and let me make the payment on another date. But, now it's paid in full and it's a good feeling knowing that debt is now done with.

As debt collectors go, I found this firm to be fair in negotiating a lump sum payment. Small claims suit was pending and I called office to negotiate a one time payment. I spoke with Peter Gallo. He is by the book but fair. Balance was $4600 and after a week we settled on $2900. Thank you Mr. Gallo.
