Horrible, after $4500 retainer that was blown in days for “copies and postage,” when my lawsuit finally came to arbitration, the lawyer got more of the money than I did..the lawsuit actually cost me money... Would not recommend or use again...

I’ve known Ed Jacobs for 40 years and Lou Barbone for 30 years, so when I needed an attorney to handle an employment matter, you would think my choice would have been simple and obvious. However, I live over an hour away from Atlantic City and I thought my case was so easy and winnable, that I sought the services of an attorney near where I live. BIG MISTAKE. After this third rate, amateur hour attorney, botched my case, I left them and made the trek to Atlantic City. I spoke with Lou, who agreed I had a case, and he set out a plan and strategy to go forward. An old friend and former colleague of mine, Tim Alexander, handled the case from there and got me the exact results I expected. Tim’s secretary, Janet, was extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process. My case is over, I received my settlement and life goes on. So, to those reading this review, don’t make the same mistake I made. If you need an attorney, RUN, don’t walk, to the Law firm of Jacobs, Barbone.
