Jerry D’Aniello mediated during my highly contentious and complex divorce, consisting of pre-marital and marital assets, which were both exempt and non-exempt, including bank accounts, stock and retirement accounts. I was skeptical about the prospect of mediation, but Jerry put my mind at ease immediately by explaining the process in great detail and doing so with thoughtfulness, poise and equanimity. His vast knowledge of family law was immediately evident, as were his mediation skills, yet he was also compassionate, had a marvelous demeanor and even a sense of humor. Jerry has a powerful, yet controlled confidence and an impressive “presence,” which speaks volumes, and undeniably a factor in his success. As circumstances in my divorce were a little unusual, I needed a mediator who possessed a firm and steady hand, who not only understood the gravity of the situation, but could help guide and direct the matter to resolution.
