I had a serious case and among 3 law firms I contacted Lackey & Miller gave me the cheapest fees with the best payment plans. I wanted the attorney to talk to the prosecutor to see how the charges will be reduced. One law firm told me categorically that that's a mere impossibility and that they will just apply me to a diversionary program. Derek on the other hand said he will try since that will be the shortest way for me to get my life on track. That really lifted up my broken spirit. Derek went on to secure an earlier court date for 20th Dec instead of the original date of 26th Dec for me and I was so happy. Couldn't wait for this case to be over. Unfortunately, he reported that the prosecutor wasn't picking his calls and the office really seem adamant to reduce the charges. My wife, family and friends and I kept fasting and praying. Derek was always there to pick my calls and guide me. We decided to go with the pti and even with that he went a step further to ascertain that I can even do that out of state. He had told me the chances of the prosecutor reducing the charge is 10%. My wife and I used the 10% to pray telling God He can turn that into our favor. Six days before the court date Derek called that the prosecutor has agreed to reduce the charges. You can imagine our joy! Infact, all 3 original charges were dropped and I was given a lesser charge and had to plead guilty to that so I can move on with my career. Derek did this for me in less than a month.
