I met with Ann Edens regarding my divorce. She made me feel all warm, cozy and safe about the situation and how she could help me. WRONG. She did a thing or two and then transferred my case to her colleague, Tom V., to handle. An attorney with no experience (4 years is not my idea of "experienced" with a difficult matter). Tom is useless. He did absolutely nothing, except for talking down to me and billing me a lot of money. I had to make uninformed decisions and to this day I do not know how such decisions were made. He told me I was going to recoup money that I transferred to my ex. He told me point blank. He denied it. He called my ex and me "children". I am not a child nor do I act like one. I called him out immediately and he said he didn't say it! Yes he did, about 20 seconds prior. I do not know how my ex received so much money from my retirement. I don't know how it was calculated (and, yes, I wish I hadn't been so emotional to understand things he was telling me and trusting him). He insulted me more than once implying that I had done something criminal ("c'mon, do you have the money? You can trust me!") I wasn't kept informed. I didn't receive copies of correspondence between him and my ex's attorney. I could go on and on.

i consulted and hired this lawyer to represent me in a child support arrears case against me. She gave me false expextations about the outcome of the case and advised me to make decisions that prolonged the matter unnecessarily. When I decided I wanted to end and resolve the matter i asked for my reamining retainer and they took about to five months to reimburse my money. I had to call on numerous occassions and her secretary would say she was outside of the office and had not authorize the disbursement. This was very unprofessional of MS. Edens and her staff.

I contacted Ann and her firm regarding an emergency order to show cause regarding a conflict in our custody case. At the time, my attorney w/Iandoli & Edens LLC was on vacation and Ann and her team quickly helped me navigate through a tumultuous situation involving my kid’s safety. She and her team successfully secured an order for cause to halt any contact with my ex-husband (who suffers from mental illness) and my son, who at the time was attempting to have face to face contact the following day. My kids are my world and will do anything to protect them—I had every trust in this firm to ensure my kid’s safety and they came through with flying colors! She put together the order, and had her attorney run it down to the courthouse in the 11th hour. We honestly were not sure if they would be able to meet the deadline—sure enough they did and not only did they successfully secure the order, the judge agreed to halt any contact, including text, facetime, phone, etc until our next scheduled court date. This outstanding work conducted by both Ann and her firm are a true testament of what they represent. This is a top notch firm! I have been so impressed with their hard work, intelligence and compassion through a two year horrific divorce/custody battle. They are the best of the best and would highly recommend this firm!
