In June of 2022, I filed for divorce on a Pro Se basis simply because I could not afford an attorney. After a year of handling everything on my own I knew I couldn't go any further because my Ex-husband was manipulating, lying and coming against me to get Alimony. A friend of mine referred me to Ramsey Merhi. He was God sent literally! My divorce was tumultuous and very stressful. Ramsey stepped in and handled all documents and steps that lead to a full trial. Ramsey was very professional, kind and very supportive through the divorce process. He was very thorough in all the proceedings. A week ago today (July 30, 2024), I had my 4th and final court case for the judge to make a final decision about alimony! I've been fervently praying for the last 2 years about this case.. praying that the judge would rule in my favor that my husband NOT be granted alimony. Thanks to Ramsey's excellent representation and argument against my husband, I am now a FREE WOMAN !!! ITS OVER and ALIMONY WAS DENIED!!!.. Ramsey was recommended to me by a mutual friend who was also an attorney. I had an issue getting a security deposit back from my landlord. He told me he would only charge a flat rate no matter how long it took and he was a man of his word. He was able to get me back my security deposit without having to go to court and never asked for a penny more than what we agreed upon at the beginning. A true gentleman.
