Evan and Louis are very caring! They stood by me throughout the 3 years it took to clear my name on the serious charges I faced. They not only backed me up in court but also gave me support mentally. Knowing that these two lawyers had my back was the greatest thing ever. What was even more joyful was when Evan and Louis got my charges dismissed. I will recommend their services to anyone that is facing charges in New Jersey. They will fight hard for you and look into any avenue to help you get you out of the situation you are in. Thanks so much Louis and Evan your the best!

NO STARS. THIS IS THE WORST LAW FIRM EVER!!! I GAVE THEM ALL MY INFO AND PAST CONVICTIONS AND I PAID THEM $1,300.00 IN FULL AND THEY TOOK MY MONEY KNOWING I COULDN'T GET AN EXPUNGEMENT!!!!! IF THEY ARE SO EXPERIENCED THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN RIGHT AWAY BY MY CHARGES THAT IT WOULDN'T WORK AND SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME TO SAVE MY MONEY. INSTEAD THEY TOOK MY MONEY, WAITED 8 MONTHS AND THEN FINALLY AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS TO THEIR NASTY SECRETARY AND EVAN NAPPEN, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL. IT SAID THEY TRIED TO EMAIL ME IN OCTOBER AND I DIDN'T RESPOND???? FLAT OUT LIARS!!! IF YOU HIRE THIS FIRM IT WILL BE THE WORST MISTAKE YOU WILL EVER MAKE!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!!! NOT BUSINESS PEOPLE JUST THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I found myself in more trouble than I knew what to do with, I asked my " CELLMATE(!)" for advice because I had never been arrested...more on that in a bit. Anyway... you're not supposed to get arrested!, but I sure did.
My friend and I are not from New Jersey and we were just trying to go to the range to practice with my new firearm and have a "girl's day". I come from Pennsylvania, a state with firearms laws that a non-attorney such as myself can make heads and tails of.
To make a long story short, I was 'improperly possessing/transporting' my firearm and I basically "told on myself" during a motor vehicle stop because I didn't know I was doing anything "wrong". I also didn't know that I had a "right to remain silent" I actually thought that was just something criminals did, I WAS SO WRONG!!
As I had said, I didn't think I did anything wrong, the problem is the police officer didn't see it that way and I was thrown in " the slammer".
Back to the cellmate, she gave me the number of an attorney who I wound up calling. Surprisingly quickly he said "GOOD NEWS! we will probably be able to get you probation" , since he had a fancy office and, after all, he was a lawyer, I figured that would be the best case scenario.
He didn't ask me the stuff that an attorney who wants to WIN would ask you. In fact, for the given charge "probation" would not have even been an option since it was so serious. I was standing to face 3.5 years in state prison!!
Anyway I went with my "gut" and I had no choice but to fire him because I knew he was not ready to fight nor did he seem capable of it.
I did a lot of research on who's who in "Gun Law" in New Jersey and all roads seemed to lead to Evan Nappen. Evan asked me for everything I could possibly recount from the situation and a lot of other stuff, some of them were questions that seemed so obvious to ask but the last (fired) attorney never made mention of them even once. It was literally an entirely different experience from the last attorney's consultation meeting, which was focused on my ability to pay/fees and not much more other than a brief description of the very reason i was there.
Anyway, the truly brilliant and outside - of - the - box thinking Mr. Evan Nappen was there every step of the way, promptly returned calls and had an incredible team each with separate talents, this included David Huang, who I was so lucky to have on my case as well.
The verdict: A FULL ACQUITTAL, NOT GUILTY!!!... I have no criminal record!! He saved my freedom and from what I know about prison, he may have saved my life (I mean this).
A couple of years later, I bumped into the original attorney (whose name I will not mention) and he literally found it hard to believe that someone was able to do that for me. He thought I was pulling his leg. He then said "may I ask who represented you" I answered "Evan Nappen". He said to me "If I was in the kind of trouble you were, I would have called him as well". I smiled and told him to have a nice day, then I thought to myself why didn't he just refer Evan to begin with if he truly cared? That would have been the real ethical move, oh well.
Folks If you are in trouble for jaywalking to a felony, in my honest opinion, I don't think you could possibly do better than Mr. Nappen and his terrific firm. Thanks Evan!

Even Nappen is the finest attorney (and I have met quiet a few) that I have ever worked with or even met. Raw talent, super high IQ and charisma is what you are paying for. He has a way of thinking “outside the box,“ to find solutions to legal problems, often they seem like they should have obvious just absolutely no one thinks of them.
George Washington or Thomas Jefferson; just born at a different time. He is a well known hero to our Second Amendment and liberty in general.
Thanks for everything Evan! "They" (other lawyers) said what you accomplished would "impossible", clearly it was only impossible for them.
Needless to say, if I am ever in such a bad situation again, I will take Evan Nappen's bright Orange business card out of my wallet and I know I will be in the best of hands.

The Nappen Law is the reason why I am free today with my good name restored. When I was arrested and charged with pretty much any violation that could be thought of, the law firm worked tirelessly. The prosecutor''s office made it clear that no deals were to made and I was to be made an example. Not only were the Nappen law firm able to get my charges dropped despite the resistance of the prosecutor's office, they were able to secure a release of my own recognizance(from $75000 cash no bod bail to $0) and ALL my property was returned to me, despite the protests from the prosecutor's office. All I had to do was exercise my rights to remain silent, communicate with the office when any issue arise, and be willing to fight in court.
Google "Keith Pantaleon" and tell me in the state of NJ should it even have been possible for to retain my innocence much less my firearms.
