I was at Extra Supermarket food shopping on June 23, 2019 approximately at 2pm in Elizabeth , NJ. I slipped and fell on my right knee and landed in the milk substance that was on the floor of the supermarket .The next day I was in uncontrollably pain. So I went to the emergency room and received care. The care I receive at the hospital still wasn't enough, So I decided to reach out to Afonso & Afonso .I went in for an evaluation he told me I had a case but I needed to receive therapy immediately . So I started therapy asap . I received two injections , countless x rays .I also had an MRI done which stated that my patella bone was torn . I went on to received physical therapy sessions at Nehmer Steven MD in union , NJ for over a year . During the COVID-19 pandemic.. I couldn't get in contact with anyone from the Law firm.A few months later , I received a letter in the mail that stated I no longer had a case and that my case was being closed. In fact the case was already closed without my acknowledgment first .I thought that was ludicrous because I was going to physical therapy for over a year 3 times a week, every week for over a year .I am confused about me not having a case because the lawyer should have said that initially instead of waiting a year later . Which seems very suspicious to me!!
