I had Rebel Brown represent me in a child custody case in Camden NJ many years ago and she was fantastic. Help me secure housing to get my kids back.

Marianne Rebel-Brown represented me in my child support case and did a fantastic job! She was very informative and always kept me in the loop with what was going on with my case. I definitely would have her represent me again if need be and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a wonderful attorney!

Great experience

She is the most unprofessional and rude lawyer I have ever dealt with. Retained her in a custody matter and she did absolutely nothing for me. She completely over charged me and never contacted me via phone at all everything was through email very unprofessional in my opinion. She charged me for every email back and forth no matter if it was one or two word answers. Totally ridiculous. She would get a -5 stars if I could. Please don’t waste your time or money. And Mrs. Brown makes other lawyers and secretary do all the work you will never hear from her personally so please steer clear of this rip off group.

This attorney deserves no stars at all. Hired her for my divorce a few years back and she nickel and dime me and assigned her junior attorney to the case. She didn’t know what she’s doing which cost me over $8,000. I thought I could use her again to help with another situation. Again, she assigned a junior attorney to the case. I kept calling and emailing and never received any calls or return responses. I learned later that this junior attorney was no longer at the firm. No one had the decency to call me and let me know. I kept trying to call and email Maryanne for over a month and she never called me back until I reported her to the law bar association. Her firm had the audacity to send me a final bill of $16.38 for what? I believe they owe me money after the poor service they provided. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND LACKS INTEGRITY.

I would give rebel brown a (-5) if I could. This was the worst experience of my life because of this group. Mine was a simple divorce with no finances to split or custody battle and should have been quick but yet it took almost 2 years and over 10k in fees. This group continually postponed and procrastinated in order to continually overcharge me. When I questioned her on her overcharges she WOULD NEVER sit down with me to explain. She kept no records of the overcharges but I DID which is why I could never get an appt to sit down with her. I was handed back and forth between lawyers and Rebel had the audacity to charge me every time any lawyer had to "review" my file (i got charged for an 8 hour review by Rebel Brown herself eventhough she knew my case and charged me hundreds of dollars for a review). She also makes it clear she "does not do drama" so girls do not shed one tear because this women will not tolerate it. I asked at least 10x to review the charges and she WOULD not sit down with me. Instead she put me in collections. I paid thousands to this women and didnt even receive my final divorce decree. My ex husband was way kinder to me than this group ever was!!! As far as people saying she is kind is simply a joke. No empathy shown on her part. She fired the lawyer who was representing me (after she took on my case and never bothered to tell me I was getting another lawyer who she subsequently fired) and after handling my case herself for months prior to handing me off to someone else without my knowledge is when she charged me hundreds to review my case for EIGHT HOURS! like I said, my divorce was simple... no assets to split, no child custody to fight. Just a straight forward divorce that should have taken a few months NOT YEARS! she's an expert on gauging and inflating charges.

Handled a real estate transaction for me and the sale went down without any complications I was happy with Marianne's efforts to resolve issues with ownership.
