I cannot express all my gratitude for Barbara's service. She held my hands through the toughest times of my life not only in terms of legal advices but encouraged me and taught me to become a strong person. Her years of expertise was absolutely invaluable for my case. Most of all, Barbara took care of me like her own daughter and I cannot thank her enough for that.

The most unprofessional and disgraceful dealings I've had with professionals.. ever. My personal experience went something like this: 15k retainer was drained almost immediately even after I advised my lawyer to cease work, the associate they assigned admitted to knowing nothing, firm billed partner time constantly (3k for an email response). So basically I spent 15k and got nothing in return. I had to hire a completely different lawyer who got everything settled for 5k almost instantly. I walked away from my charges essentially scotch free even though my lawyer ill advised me on the severity of what I was facing. The cherry on top was when I asked for an explanation of what they were doing and pointed out the specific "work" that had been billed they sent me an emailing calling me crazy and even suggested going after an additional 5K they somehow went over on my retainer. This email was not address to me, but they made sure to CC me instead of answering me directly. This is the kind of monstrous behavior you can expect from these people. If someone higher up is seeing this you seriously need to look into my dealings with your firm. I am fully prepared to go into mediation. Not to mention the severe emotional distress caused by your firm. Please make this right...

Finding an honest and ethical attorney should be easy to find but let me tell you it's not. We had to deal with a wrongful termination lawsuit and contacted Justin KobenSchlag. Sorry Justin, your last name is hard to spell. Immediately clear that he was the right guy for us. Did not take advantage and treated us as the intelligent people we were. Had to resolve the situation and boy are we glad we had Justin. Kept talking about why ethical behavior is so important and he displayed it. We are confident we did the best we could and Justin did not take advantage of the situation financially. As a matter of fact he did everything he could to keep cost down. Always available and always answered his phone or returned calls promptly. Find me if you need to know more.

Our mediator assigned Barbara Cowen to file and oversee the details of our divorce with the court.
