MR. Men's Right became MR. No Show times two just as introductory. I don't write reviews, but when you seek legal action and decide on a company you expect them to show up seeing as they take payment before a meeting. I gave them the benefit of doubt but wasting 3 hours of time and constantly rescheduling doesn't give much faith and charging me is a bit of a disgrace. Us fathers are trying to do right by our families and we need a company who we can rely on and show up. Do better.

Carrie is highly skilled and when I need experienced, caring representation as a Non-Custodial parent, in a Child Support dispute she and her team provided solid advice and timely actions to ensure that my rights were protected. I was introduced to Carrie and her team at Mr. Men’s Right’s Divorce & Family Law by Schultz & Associates by a friend who had previously used their services. The recommendation was glowing; almost too good to be true. I had already lined up two other consultations, one with an attorney recommended thru my job and another I found on Avvo, so I proceeded with my due diligence, meeting with two other law firms prior to meeting Carrie and her team. Immediately during the first phone call with the intake specialist, It was immediately apparent why Carrie and her team had come so highly recommended. They were thoughtful and meticulous in their attention to the details of my case and I hadn’t signed a retainer yet. As I sat down to meet with Carrie for my consult, she opened the conversation by proposing an agenda and it started with: “How was I doing?”, “What immediate needs did I have as a Person?” And “What was my desired outcome? During my other consults, the law firms I had met were only interested getting to a settlement versus understanding the case, its merits, and get me to sign a retainer. Carrie cared about all possible outcomes: dismissal, settlement and trial. She discussed all scenario’s and most importantly focused on the impact all outcomes would have on me personally and professionally. Carrie understood that the most important outcome was what was in the best interest of my 2 yo daughter. Carrie and team also provided information on statewide services to assist me as well as a calendar of activities and events which I’d come to utilize to make the most of my limited visitation time with my daughter. Further Carrie offered advice on my personal growth and recommended a number of available programs which I could partake in. Mind you, this was all during the initial 1 hour consult (which lasted longer than that as Carrie left no stone unturned). I left without signing a retainer, as Carrie laid out a strategy which would allow us to understand the adversaries position without jeopardizing my case. After my 1st court appearance, the outcome of a dismissal did not materialize, so I returned to sign my retainer and the team immediately got to work on my case. Reiterating again, Carrie could’ve signed me during the consult, but she cared about my financial situation and didn’t want to needlessly waste money if I wasn’t going ti need her services. Within hours of retaining her services, Carrie and team immediately began reaching out to the adversary to try to reach an out of court settlement. That was no easy task as the other attorney was unengaged and aloof. The adversary also failed to return calls and respond to emails. Without Carrie’s persistence, I don’t believe any communications would have occurred, leaving us at a disadvantage going into a trial. But Carrie’s diligence paid off, collectively with her associate Anthony Dunleavy, and we were able to plan what was ultimately a successful defense for trial. While I am obviously satisfied with the outcome of my case, I can without any hesitation say I’d offer the same review had the outcome been different. Clients become extended family when they work with Carrie and team. Throughout the roughest days, I was reassured by their steadfast communications - even going so far as to come in on a Sunday evening because they had been in court ALL week - to consult and prepare me for trial. Google “the best signs of a successful business” and near the very tip of all lists you’ll ‘repeat customers’. As I have a long way to go with phase 2 of my divorce - I will be using Carrie and the team at Mr. Men’s Right’s Divorce & Family Law by Schultz & Associates again - and of course passing along the same glowing recommendation I received.
