My father was Canadian and once I realized that I too was Canadian, via the immigration laws, I decided to apply for dual citizenship and a passport. Due to Covid it took much longer than anticipated, which also included a lot of research and getting my documents together. While the immigration sites certainly indicate one can "do it yourself," I realized that professional help would assure me that the process would done correctly and in less time.
