Omid Irani is an exceptional lawyer! I hired Mr. Irani to handle an expungement petition, which was granted. Before I hired Omid, I was skeptical of lawyers in general, because I was misrepresented by a trifecta of unscrupulous New Jersey defense lawyers during the original pretrial phase of my old case. However, from the first time I spoke with Mr. Irani, during the initial consultation for the expungement petition, I was impressed with his professionalism and easy-going manner. Unlike my previous set of attorneys, Omid was not condescending or patronizing when addressing my concerns. Omid has extensive legal knowledge, and he quickly explained the expungement process with confidence. Another quality that I admire about Mr. Irani is that he will either call or e-mail you back promptly the same day if you have any questions or concerns. The online client portal message system that he uses is extremely efficient for uploading documents, downloading documents, or sending messages. I only wish that Omid had been practicing law several years ago during the time when my initial court case was being litigated. If Mr. Irani had been my attorney back then, I’m confident that Mr. Irani would have succeeded in winning my pretrial motion where my old attorneys failed. My previous attorneys were lukewarm, and they stonewalled my case and repeatedly cancelled my pretrial-motion court dates for years—never arguing any of the pretrial legal arguments in open court, until they bled my financial resources and ultimately railroaded me into submitting to a plea ultimatum. It was a distinct pleasure having Mr. Irani’s representation for my expungement. For once, I felt like a defense attorney was actually representing my interests, and not the Prosecution’s or the Judge’s. After hiring Mr. Irani and uploading the required documents to the client portal, I only followed up once to check on the progress of the expungement petition. Mr. Irani inspires confidence, and he was on point every step of the way. The expungement petition was filed and litigated without a hitch, and I received the court order granting the petition only eight months after it was filed, which is relatively short, considering the expungement application process usually takes about a year in New Jersey. Having previously experienced the unscrupulous tactics of some duplicitous defense attorneys myself, I highly recommend Omid, Irani, because he is the gold standard of what a defense attorney should aspire to be. He is honest, punctual, highly intelligent, efficient, respectful toward his clients, and he gets the job done! Called him 3 hours before my trial started…. he not only got right on my case by contacting the court while we were talking on the initial call …he hung up called back 30 minutes later with a game plan like a coach at half time and we’re down 7 . he was able to talk to striaght up with no bs and tell me what i needed to do to get the favorable outcome i wanted and needed. i followed his instructions and it worked and not only was that issue resolved he took care of some additional tickets from a prior situation with no additional money. Omid has been ridiculously helpful accommodating down to earth lawyer i’ve ever met and i’ve had a lot lol but to anyone who what’s someone on your case that truly cares about what he does and he cares about your hard earned money spent on him doesn’t come easy and he wants. you to get the best for your money and hands down he’s the best i recommend him over anyone else you was thinking of.
