I do not recommend this law firm, Louis Kehler in particular, unless you’d like to feel like you spent thousands of dollars hiring an extra lawyer for the opposing side. Louis’s communication was terrible, leading to several crucial misunderstandings in an already stressful situation. He refused to listen to any context for the case. I tried to explain why I had legitimate concerns that the opposing party would retaliate. He was completely dismissive. One month after the case was over, the opposing party smashed my car window, leading to even more police and legal intervention. He didn’t show up appropriately in court, which was just plain embarrassing. He didn’t even send me the fully signed paperwork at the end of his services. He’s incompetent and yet the most condescending person I’ve ever come across. He does not inspire trust at all. When he asked me to write a good review for him at the end, I thought “yeah, right” and scoffed to myself. You do not want to work with this so-called lawyer; the bad attitude is there, the skill is not.

Jeffrey Skiendzuil just won my firearm id appeal today. A huge weight has finally lifted and I can finally get on with my life. Those cases are pretty tough to beat, but we were in and out of court quickly, with my appeal granted. It is hard finding a decent firearm attorney in NJ that is affordable. He reached out to me a few hours after requesting an attorney on their website. He told me from day 1, “I think I’d be able to help you”, and he did! Once I retained him, he handled the rest. He listened to what I had to say and if I ever needed to reach out to him, he responded in a decent amount of time. I’m very pleased with the outcome. Although I’d never want to ever step foot in a court house again, I think it’s safe to say, I’d use this law firm again. Thank you!
