Absolutely, one of the very best attorneys in the the business. I was trying to represent myself during a divorce and I was absolutely getting creamed by my ex-wife's attorney. Steven Petersen represented my husband and WON a long fight against Salem County for an inflated and inaccurately calculated child support arrearages and Custody of his son. My husband was found Permanently Disabled through the Social Security Administration and he provided proof immediatly to Salem County upon filing and approval for SSI and SSD. After suffering a massive heart attack, for approximately 1 1/2 years, my husband tried WITHOUT an attorney to correct his arrearages, terminate his child support obligation, and tried to get Physical Custody of his son, as the child's mother was neglecting the child. My husband filed 6 child support modifications in Salem County to correct the situation, but instead, was treated unfairly and also sterotyped by the judge as, "Only worrying about the money".
